Restaurants in Italy email list: 241 found in Milan in one run — any province on request
Restaurants in Italy email list: restaurants and pizzerias located in Italy, with email, phone, website and operating address. We build it on request from Google Maps and the Italian national directories, then visit every website to read the emails it publishes. In Milan one run returned 241 businesses. Get 20 free rows from the area you name, then from $0.01 per lead through the API, or a finished file from €290 per province.

What this restaurant contact list for Italy is
It is the list of food-service businesses in an Italian area — restaurants, pizzerias, trattorias, osterias — with business name, operating address, phone, website and the emails published on that website. It is not a ready-made archive to download: it is extracted when you order it, so the collection date is the delivery date.
There are two sources. Google Maps, which covers practically every venue with a listing, and the Italian national directories (Pagine Gialle and Pagine Bianche), which bring in the independents without a strong online presence. Every row says where it comes from, so you decide how far to trust it.
The numbers on this page are measured, not estimated, and refer to Milan: one run on 8 September 2026, 241 listings. For the other provinces we give you the count before you order, together with the free sample.
The fields you get on every row
These are the columns of the CSV or XLSX. The enrichment fields (email, social profiles, website status) are filled only for the businesses with a reachable website.
| Field | Type | What it contains |
|---|---|---|
| Business name | text | The name the business uses with the public, cleaned of duplicates and department labels. |
| Category | text | The category declared on the listing (and the secondary categories, when there are any): useful to filter before you call. |
| Address | text | Street and number of the operating address, the place where the work actually happens. |
| City, province and postcode | text | Three separate columns in the file, so you can split the list by sales territory without reworking it. |
| Phone | text | The number published on the listing, normalised to international format; mobiles stay separate from landlines. Before a calling campaign the numbers must be screened against Italy's do-not-call register (Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni). |
| Website | URL | The business domain. When the column is empty, the business has no website: for some sellers that is already a signal. |
| Email found on the website | text | The emails published on the business website, read from the site itself during enrichment. More than one when there are several. |
| Social profiles | URL | Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn linked from the website: useful when the phone does not answer. |
| Rating | number | The average star rating on the listing, where there is one. |
| Number of reviews | number | How many reviews it has collected: an order of magnitude of the client volume. |
| Date of last review | date | When someone last wrote a review: the most honest signal that the business is still trading. |
| Active | yes / doubtful / no | Flag computed from the date of the last review and the website status. «Doubtful» means to be checked, not to be thrown away. |
| Operating address confirmed | yes / no | It is yes when the map and the national directory show the same address. It is the field that keeps your letter from landing at the accountant's office. |
| Source per row | text | Google Maps, national directory or both: every row says where it comes from. On request we add the VAT number where the register shows it, checked on VIES. |
How we build the list
Five choices that decide how many right rows end up in the file.
The sector from the listing, not from the ATECO code
A company picks its ATECO activity code when it registers and often never updates it when the business changes. We take the category the business shows today on its public listing, on Google Maps and on the Italian national directories.
The operating address, not only the registered office
The address is where the business works and answers the phone, not the registered office in the company register, which is sometimes only an administrative address.
Source and date for every field
Next to phone, website and email you see where the value came from and the day we read it.
Measured coverage
Every list says how many rows really have a phone, a website or an email, counted and not estimated. On this page, in Milan: phone 98% (235 of 241), website 89% (215 of 241). Email coverage is measured in the sample from your area.
Every month, only the changes
With the monthly refresh you receive new openings, closures and changed contact details, not the whole list again.
Before a calling campaign, Italian numbers must be screened against the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register. A business that finds itself in a list can ask to be removed: remove your business from our lists.
How the list is built
From the map to the file, step by step
Five steps, always the same. They are the same public collectors you find in the API: if you prefer, you can run them yourself.
1. Extraction from the map
The google_maps_places collector sweeps the area you name and collects every food-service listing in it: name, category, address, phone, website, rating and reviews. It is the source that covers practically every sign you can see from the street.
2. National directories for the independents
The business_directory collector goes over the same area on the Italian national directories (Pagine Gialle and Pagine Bianche). There is a precise reason: chains and groups are everywhere, small independents often appear only there. The two sources complete each other, they do not replace each other.
3. Deduplication on name and street
We normalise business name and address (abbreviations, punctuation, company forms) and merge the listings that describe the same business. One row is left, but the «source» column keeps track of where it appeared.
4. Enrichment from the website
The local_business_leads collector visits the website of each business and extracts the published emails, other phone numbers, social profiles and the website status. The emails do not come from a purchased archive: they come from the business's own website, and we know from which page.
5. «Active» flag and delivery
From the date of the last review and the website status we derive the active / doubtful / no flag, then export to CSV or XLSX with the source on every row. On request we check the VAT numbers on VIES before we send you the file.

Pricing
What it costs
Two ways. The self-service API if you want to rebuild the list yourself whenever you need it, the finished file if you only want to open the CSV and start. Prices are always «from»: they depend on how many businesses come out of the area you name.
local_business_leads collector, $2 of free credit every month, failed extractions not chargedThe API price is per row delivered: failed extractions are not charged and rows with neither phone nor website are not counted. Prices of the finished files exclude VAT.
Who buys a list of restaurants in Italy
Not diners: the companies that sell to restaurants, province by province.
Food and beverage suppliers
Wholesalers, wineries, breweries and coffee roasters that need to bring a price list to the venues of an area without waiting for a sales agent to pass by.
Restaurant POS and management software
Sellers of tills, tablet ordering and front-of-house software: the website is where the demo starts, the date of the last review tells you whether the place is still open.
Delivery and booking platforms
Sales teams that cover a city neighbourhood by neighbourhood and want to know which venues are not under contract yet.
Marketing and web agencies
Websites, digital menus, photos and social media management: an empty «website» column is already a list of qualified prospects.
Kitchen equipment and furniture suppliers
Ovens, blast chillers, dishwashers, dining-room furniture: the confirmed operating address keeps the quote from going to the accountant's office.
HACCP consultants and training
Whoever sells mandatory food-safety compliance and courses needs full coverage of a province, not a random sample.
A bought list versus a list built on request
The six differences buyers tell us about after trying an archive file.
| Bought list | This list | |
|---|---|---|
| Freshness | A static file: usually it does not say when it was collected. | Extracted the day you order it; on request it comes back every month with the changes only. |
| Source per row | One big pool, with no way to know where each contact comes from. | Every row states the source: map, national directory or both. |
| Address | Often the registered office: the post ends up at the accountant's. | The operating address, with the «confirmed» flag when the two sources agree. |
| Origin of the emails | Origin not declared, often inherited from other lists. | Emails read on the venue's website, with the page they come from. |
| Closed businesses | No signal: you find out by calling. | Active / doubtful / no flag and date of the last review on every row. |
| Pricing model | A package to buy whole, often national. | 20 free rows, then from $0.01 per lead through the API or from €290 per province. |
Compliance: what is in the file and what is up to you
The list contains business contacts only: business name, operating address, published number, website and the emails the venue publishes on its own website. No consumer data, no private contacts, no personal profiles bought from third parties.
For business-to-business contact the legal basis is legitimate interest, which the GDPR names explicitly for direct marketing in recital 47. Sole traders and self-employed professionals are flagged in a separate column, because for them the contact detail counts as personal data and the processing has to be assessed case by case.
Email, SMS and automated messages need consent in Italy. Sending commercial communications through automated systems requires the recipient's prior consent, even when the recipient is a company or a professional (art. 130 of the Italian Privacy Code): the email column is for whoever already has that consent or for one-to-one contacts. Calls with a live operator are allowed only to numbers not listed in the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register.
When you receive the file you become an independent controller of the data: privacy notice, record of processing and replies to data subjects' requests are up to you. Before any calling campaign the numbers must be screened against the do-not-call register; on request we check the VAT numbers on VIES before delivery.
If your business is in one of our lists and you want it out, the business name and the contact detail to remove are enough: remove your business from our lists.
Sources and standards: Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni (Italian do-not-call register) · Garante Privacy — telemarketing and unwanted calls · GDPR, recital 47 — legitimate interest · VIES — VAT number check, European Commission
Frequently asked questions
What buyers ask us before ordering. If something is missing, ask for the sample and write the question in the form: a person replies.
Ask for your sample →How many restaurants are there in Italy?
We have not counted a national total, so we do not publish one. The only number we measured is Milan: 241 restaurant listings in a single run on 8 September 2026. Before you order we tell you how many rows come out of the province or region you need, and the free sample comes from that same area.
Is this a list of restaurants located in Italy, or of Italian restaurants abroad?
Restaurants located in Italy. Every row is a business with its operating address in an Italian municipality, taken from Google Maps and the Italian national directories. It is not a list of Italian-cuisine restaurants in other countries, and it does not contain diners or any consumer data: it is a B2B file for companies that sell to restaurants.
How up to date is the data?
It is current to the day of extraction, because the list is generated when you order it instead of being pulled from an archive. The date-of-last-review column tells you, row by row, how recently someone ate there and wrote about it. On request we rebuild the file every month and deliver only the changes.
How many rows have an email, and is it the restaurant owner's?
We read the emails on the restaurant's own website, so coverage depends on how many venues have one: in the Milan sample, 215 listings out of 241 (89%) had a website to visit. The emails are the ones the restaurant publishes itself; we do not add private addresses from other sources. In the free sample you see the real percentage for your area.
Is it legal to contact these restaurants?
They are business contacts published by the restaurants themselves. For B2B the GDPR allows legitimate interest under recital 47, and sole traders are flagged separately. When you receive the file you become an independent controller and, before calling, you must screen the numbers against Italy's do-not-call register. Automated email needs prior consent in Italy.
Is there a free restaurant email list for Italy?
Yes, to start with: 20 complete rows from the area you name are free, with no account and no card. They come from the same extraction as the paid list, so you see the real email and phone coverage of your area. The full province is paid, from €290.
Can I download the list as CSV or Excel, and how fast?
CSV and XLSX, with the source on every row; JSON on request. The 20-row sample arrives within one business day. A full province usually takes one or two business days, because every website has to be visited one by one to read the emails and social profiles.
Can I get the restaurant list for just one city, like Rome or Florence?
Yes, and the province is the most requested cut: one province starts at €290. You can also name a single city, a radius in kilometres, a list of municipalities or a neighbourhood. There is no national package you have to buy whole before you can get your area.
API or finished file: which is better?
The API makes sense if you have someone to integrate it and you want to rebuild the list yourself: you pay from $0.01 per lead and get $2 of free credit every month. The finished file makes sense if you need a province already deduplicated, enriched and checked, without writing a line of code.
What guarantee is there on quality?
Before buying you get 20 real rows from your area for free. After buying, every field we deliver is guaranteed: if a field is wrong, for example an email that does not exist, that row is refunded. For phones the refund applies when the number does not exist or is not valid, not when nobody answers, because a phone that is switched off cannot be verified. The guarantee covers the fields of the list you bought (with «phone only», the phone) and the period to report a row is stated in the order.
Can I import the list into my CRM?
Yes. The file arrives as CSV and XLSX with one column per field (name, phone, email, operating address, website), so the list of restaurants loads through the contact import of HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo and monday CRM, or opens in Excel and Google Sheets. With the API the rows reach your systems without a file.
Want to see 20 restaurants from your area?
