What are mobile proxies?
Mobile proxies are IP addresses assigned by mobile carriers to real 4G and 5G devices. Carriers place thousands of subscribers behind each shared IP (carrier-grade NAT), so blocking one address would lock out crowds of genuine customers — which is why platforms almost never do it, and why mobile traffic is the hardest to flag.

What are mobile proxies?
Mobile proxies are IP addresses assigned by mobile carriers to real 4G and 5G devices. Traffic routed through them looks like a person on a phone, which makes them the hardest proxy type for anti-bot systems to detect and block.
How do mobile proxies work?
Your request travels to a gateway, exits the internet through a real device on a carrier network, and returns the response. Because carriers place thousands of subscribers behind shared IPs (CGNAT), your traffic blends into a crowd of genuine mobile users.
Why are mobile proxies harder to block than other proxies?
Carrier-grade NAT means one mobile IP is shared by thousands of real customers at once. Blocking that IP would lock out all of them, so platforms treat mobile ranges with far more tolerance than datacenter or even residential addresses.
Mobile vs residential proxies — which should I use?
Both use real-user IPs. Residential proxies are cheaper and offer wider country coverage — the default for scraping. Mobile proxies carry the extra trust of carrier CGNAT ranges, which matters most on social platforms and heavily protected apps.
