What are datacenter proxies?

Datacenter proxies are IP addresses hosted on servers in cloud data centers, not assigned by a consumer ISP. Nothing beats them on raw throughput or cost per gigabyte — the trade-off is that anti-bot systems can recognize datacenter ranges, so they shine on targets that don't fight back.

With QuanticData you choose the behaviour per request: rotating gives every request a fresh exit for volume work; static holds one consistent IP for flows that expect a stable identity. Targeting goes down to city and ISP level across 100+ countries, and multiple /24 subnets keep you clear of range bans.

What teams use them for

Bulk web scraping

Collect public data from permissive targets at line speed and the lowest cost per GB.

SERP & SEO monitoring

Track rankings and keywords at scale — or skip the plumbing and use our SERP API directly.

Price & stock monitoring

Poll product pages and availability feeds around the clock without breaking the budget.

Load testing

Stress your own applications from many IPs and see how they behave under real traffic.

Public APIs & open data

Pull open datasets, government portals and public endpoints at full throughput.

AI training data

Feed models with bulk web data at the lowest collection cost — pair with our AI data tools for structured output.

Which network fits your use case?

Don't want to manage proxies at all?

The same infrastructure powers our data APIs: send a URL or a query, get clean Markdown or SerpApi-compatible JSON back — billed only when the result is usable, from $0.0002 per page.

What are datacenter proxies?

Datacenter proxies are IP addresses hosted on servers in cloud data centers rather than assigned by a consumer ISP. They are the fastest and cheapest proxy type, ideal for high-volume work on targets that don't run aggressive anti-bot protection.

What is the difference between datacenter and residential proxies?

Datacenter IPs come from cloud servers: faster, cheaper, but easier for anti-bot systems to flag. Residential IPs come from real homes: harder to detect, at a higher price per GB. Use datacenter for bulk work on permissive targets, residential for protected ones.

When should I use datacenter proxies?

When speed and cost per GB matter more than stealth: bulk scraping of permissive sites, SEO and price monitoring, load testing, and public APIs. If a target blocks datacenter ranges, switch that traffic to residential or mobile exits.

How fast are datacenter proxies?

QuanticData datacenter connections run at 1 Gbps+ with an average response time under 50 ms and no throttling. Concurrent sessions are unlimited, so throughput scales with the connections you open.

How much do datacenter proxies cost?

Bandwidth starts at $8 for a 10 GB plan and falls to $0.50/GB on the 500 GB and 1 TB tiers. Dedicated datacenter IPs are available from $2.50 per IP.

Do you offer unlimited bandwidth?

Unlimited-bandwidth options are available on select plans. The standard tiers are priced per GB, so small and bursty workloads don't pay for idle capacity — talk to us to size an unlimited setup.

Which protocols are supported?

HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, with username:password authentication or an IP allowlist. Point any HTTP client, scraper or automation framework at one endpoint.

Do datacenter proxies rotate?

Yes — choose per-request rotation for scraping volume, or static sessions when a flow needs one consistent IP. Both behaviors are set per request, not per plan.

Can I target specific locations?

Yes. Targeting covers 100+ countries with country, state, city and ISP-level selection, included in every plan as a request parameter.

Are datacenter proxies legal?

Using datacenter proxies is legal in most jurisdictions. What matters is what you do through them: collect public data, respect the target site's terms, and don't access private systems.

Is there a trial?

The smallest datacenter plan is a 10 GB trial tier at $8, and the data APIs on the same network include $1 of free usage every month — enough to validate your targets before scaling.

Can I skip proxy management and just get the data?

Yes. The same infrastructure powers QuanticData's scraping, SERP and crawling APIs: you send a URL or a query and get clean Markdown or JSON back, billed only on success.

How do sites detect and block datacenter proxies?

Mostly by looking up who owns the IP. Every address belongs to a published block, and blocks registered to hosting companies are trivially separated from blocks registered to consumer ISPs — so a site can tell a server from a household before it looks at your request at all. On top of that sit the usual signals: request rate, TLS fingerprint, header order, and reputation the IP earned from whoever used it before you. This is why datacenter proxies are fast and cheap but fail on the strictest targets, and why residential or mobile IPs get through where these do not.
