Ice cream and pastry shops in Italy with phone numbers and addresses
A list of gelato shops and pastry shops in Italy with phone, website, email and the shop address, which is usually where the workshop is too. It is not a guide to the best gelato: it is the file for whoever sells to gelato makers and pastry chefs. In Palermo one run returned at least 134 shops. What this list of Italian gelato and pastry shops is
It is the list of the ice cream and pastry shops in an Italian area (artisan gelaterie, pasticcerie and shops that are both), with business name, shop address, phone, website and the emails published on that website. It is not an archive to download: it is extracted when you order it, so the collection date is the delivery date.
Whoever searches for gelato shops in Italy mostly finds rankings for visitors: the ten best places in a city, chosen by an editor. Our file is for something else: for whoever sells to gelato makers and pastry chefs and needs every shop in an area, not the ten most famous, with phone, website and email.
The numbers on this page are for Palermo: the «gelateria» search of 4 October 2026 returned 159 listings; 25 belonged to other categories and we took them out, because that is exactly what the category column in the file is for. That leaves 134 gelato and pastry shops.
The fields you get on every row
These are the columns of the CSV or XLSX. Email and website appear only on the rows of businesses that publish them.
| Field | Type | What it contains |
|---|---|---|
| Business | text | The name the business shows on its public listing. |
| Category | text | The category the listing shows today. Listings of other categories are left out. |
| Address, postcode, comune and province | text | The operating address, where the business works and answers, in separate columns so you can split the list by area. |
| Phone and Phone 2 | text | The published numbers, in international format. Before a calling campaign the numbers must be screened against Italy's do-not-call register (Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni). |
| Email and email type | text | The email the business publishes on its own website, with its type: generic, personal or certified (PEC). Empty when we did not find one. |
| Website | URL | The business domain when we find it on the listing; empty when we do not. |
| Operating address check | yes / no | Yes when the map listing and the national directory listing show the same address. |
| Status on the map | text | Hours shown, temporarily closed or permanently closed, as the listing shows it on the day we read it. |
| Rating and number of reviews | number | The average rating and the review count of the listing: an order of magnitude of the client volume. |
| Directory and map listing | URL | The two public pages the row comes from: the source of every value, open to check. |
| Checked on | date | The day we read the sources for that row. |
| Row ID | text | A stable code, so the same business does not reach you twice across orders. |
How we build the list
Four choices that decide how many right rows end up in the file.
The sector from the listing, not from the ATECO code
A company picks its ATECO activity code when it registers and often never updates it when the business changes. We take the category the business shows today on its public listing, on Google Maps and on the Italian national directories.
The operating address, not only the registered office
The address is where the business works and answers the phone, not the registered office in the company register, which is sometimes only an administrative address.
Source and date on every row
Every row carries the links to the two public listings it comes from and the day we read it.
Every month, only the changes
With the monthly refresh you receive new openings, closures and changed contact details, not the whole list again.
Before a calling campaign, Italian numbers must be screened against the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register. A business that finds itself in a list can ask to be removed: remove your business from our lists.

Who buys a list of gelato and pastry shops in Italy
Not someone looking for the best gelato: companies that sell to gelato makers and pastry chefs and need the workshop address.
Ingredients, bases and semi-finished products
Gelato bases, flavouring pastes, flours, chocolate, nuts: sold area by area, with the direct phone of the workshop.
Machines and refrigerated display cases
Batch freezers, blast chillers, ovens and display counters: rating and number of reviews help show which shops are busiest.
Packaging and disposables
Cups, tubs, trays and cake boxes: a recurring local purchase, covered city by city.
Till, ordering and delivery software
Tills, cake orders and home delivery: the shops without a website are the first to call for an online shop window.
Training and courses
Gelato and pastry schools look for independent shops already up and running: the list is built region by region.
Energy, technical service and maintenance
Freezers and ovens running all year: whoever sells energy or maintenance contracts starts from the operating address, not the registered one.
Compliance: what is in the file and what is up to you
The list contains business contacts only: business name, operating address, published number, website and the emails the shop publishes on its own website. No consumer data, no private contacts, no personal profiles bought from third parties.
For business-to-business contact the legal basis is legitimate interest, which the GDPR names explicitly for direct marketing in recital 47. For sole traders and self-employed professionals the contact detail counts as personal data and the processing has to be assessed case by case.
Email, SMS and automated messages need consent in Italy. Sending commercial communications through automated systems requires the recipient's prior consent, even when the recipient is a company or a professional (art. 130 of the Italian Privacy Code): the email column is for whoever already has that consent, or for the cases where the law does not require it, such as existing customers for similar products. Calls with a live operator are allowed only to numbers not listed in the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register.
When you receive the file you become an independent controller of the data: privacy notice, record of processing and replies to data subjects' requests are up to you.
If your business is in one of our lists and you want it out, the business name and the contact detail to remove are enough: remove your business from our lists.

Frequently asked questions
What buyers ask us before ordering. If something is missing, ask for the sample and write the question in the form: a person replies.
Ask for your sample →How many gelato and pastry shops are there in the list?
It depends on the area. The only number we measured is Palermo: at least 134 gelato and pastry shops in a single run on 4 October 2026, after removing other categories. We do not publish a national total because we have not counted one: before you order we tell you how many rows come out of your province.
Does the list include both gelaterie and pasticcerie?
Yes: the count includes listings whose category is gelateria or pasticceria, including shops that do both. Bars and cafés that also sell gelato or cakes stay out, because they are a different trade and a different customer. If you need them, the category column lets us add them on request.
How up to date is the data?
It is current to the day of extraction, because the list is generated when you order it instead of being pulled from an archive. For seasonal or closed shops, the map status shows, row by row, who is marked as temporarily or permanently closed. On request we rebuild the file every month and deliver only the changes.
How many shops in the list have an email?
The emails do not come from an archive: we read them on the shop website, so coverage depends on how many have a website. In the Palermo sample, 74 shops out of 134 (55%) had a website to visit; for the others you get phone and address. In the free sample you see the real percentage for your area before you pay.
Is it legal to contact these gelato and pastry shops?
They are business contacts published by the businesses themselves; for B2B the GDPR allows legitimate interest (recital 47). Commercial emails and SMS sent through automated systems need the recipient's prior consent (art. 130 of the Italian Privacy Code), except the soft-spam case of existing customers for similar products. Operator calls are allowed to numbers not listed in Italy's do-not-call register, the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni. With the file you become an independent controller.
Can I get a contact list of gelato and pastry shops by province?
Yes: the price starts at €290 and depends on how many businesses come out of the area you name. For whoever delivers ingredients or packaging it often pays to think in delivery rounds: you can name a radius in kilometres from your warehouse, a list of municipalities or a district. There is no national package you have to buy whole.
API or finished file: which is better?
The API makes sense if you have someone to integrate it and you want to rebuild the list yourself: you pay from $0.01 per lead and get $2 of free credit every month. The finished file makes sense if you need a province already deduplicated, enriched and checked, without writing a line of code.
What guarantee is there on quality?
Before buying you get 20 real rows from your area free. After buying, every delivered field is guaranteed: a row with a wrong field, such as a non-existent email, is refunded. For phones this applies when the number does not exist or is invalid, not when nobody answers. With «phone only», the version of the list that contains only rows with a phone number, the phone is guaranteed. The reporting period is in the order.
Can I import the list into my CRM?
Yes. The file arrives as CSV and XLSX with one column per field (name, phone, email, operating address, website), so the list of gelato and pastry shops loads through the contact import of HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo and monday CRM, or opens in Excel and Google Sheets. With the API the rows reach your systems without a file.
