To add a proxy in Hidemyacc, open New Profile, go to the Proxy tab and choose Your Proxy. Pick the Connection type that matches the port, paste the line into Quick add as IP:Port:Username:Password, click Check Proxy and then Create. Give every profile its own sticky session. Below: each field by its name, ISP and mobile lines, the Proxy Manager and a fix for each error.
Hidemyacc keeps every browser profile apart: its own fingerprint, its own cookies and, once you give it one, its own proxy. The proxy decides which IP address and which country the sites see, and Hidemyacc then sets the profile's time zone and geolocation from it. The field names below are the ones in Hidemyacc's own documentation for the current app, and the values come from the QuanticData endpoint generator.
What you need before you start
- Hidemyacc installed, with an account. Version 3 comes with a 7-day trial of 30 profiles; the plans and their limits are on Hidemyacc's site.
- A proxy plan. Residential Premium, ISP or mobile: all three work in Hidemyacc. The sections below take them in that order.
- The four values: host, port, username and password. In the QuanticData dashboard they are under My proxies, on the plan's page, in the Endpoint generator (Assigned IPs for an ISP plan).
The proxy formats Hidemyacc accepts
The Proxy tab of a profile takes the proxy in two ways, and other parts of the app read the same values in a slightly different shape:
- Quick add: one line as
IP:Port:Username:Password. The first part can be a host name, not only an IP, so the generator's output format host:port:user:pass fits as it is. - Or enter proxy information below: four fields, IP address/Host, Port, Username and Password, for tools that hand you the values one by one.
- Proxy Manager and Add Proxy on selected profiles: a list in the same
IP:Port:Username:Passwordformat, one proxy per line, with the type chosen once for the whole list. - Quick profiles: the type goes in front, as in
http://host:port:username:passwordorsocks5://host:port:username:password.
The same QuanticData proxy in each shape:
# Quick add, Proxy Manager, Add Proxy (Connection type HTTP)
residentialpremium.quantumproxies.io:8080:USER-country-ar-sid-p01-ttl-60m:PASS
# the same proxy on SOCKS5 (Connection type Socks5, port 1080)
residentialpremium.quantumproxies.io:1080:USER-country-ar-sid-p01-ttl-60m:PASS
# Quick profile, type in front
http://residentialpremium.quantumproxies.io:8080:USER-country-ar-sid-p01-ttl-60m:PASS
The username is the whole string, with everything after the first dash: -country-ar picks the exit country, -sid-p01 names the session and -ttl-60m keeps it for 60 minutes. Copy it whole. A username cut at the first dash still logs in, but the profile then leaves from a random country on a new IP at every request.
Step by step: add a proxy to a Hidemyacc profile

- Generate the line. In the QuanticData dashboard open My proxies, then your plan. In the Endpoint generator choose the Country (and a Region or City if the profile needs one), set Session to Sticky, set Session TTL (minutes) to at least the time the profile stays open, choose the Protocol and keep the Output format on host:port:user:pass. Copy the line from Preview.
- Open New Profile in Hidemyacc. Give the profile a name on the Overview tab, with the operating system and browser you want, then open the Proxy tab.
- Choose Your Proxy. Without Proxy leaves the profile on your own IP address; the icon next to the options opens the Proxy Manager, covered further down.
- Pick the Connection type that matches the port. HTTP for port 8080, Socks5 for port 1080.
- Paste the line into Quick add. One line, no spaces, nothing after the password. If you prefer, fill IP address/Host, Port, Username and Password under "Or enter proxy information below".
- Click Check Proxy. On success Hidemyacc shows the flag and the city of the exit; the country has to match the
-country-in the username. On failure it shows "Can't connect to proxy server", covered below. - Click Create. The profile appears in Profiles with the status Ready; Run opens it on that proxy.

Hidemyacc's Timezone and Geolocation tabs follow the proxy by default, so a profile on an Argentina line opens with an Argentina time zone and location. Leave them on their defaults unless a check site shows a mismatch.
One sticky session per profile
An antidetect profile is meant to look like one person on one connection. A rotating proxy changes IP on every request, which suits scraping and not a profile that logs in. A sticky session keeps one IP for as long as the session lives, and the session lives in the username, so the line never has to change once it is saved in the profile.
# profile 1: Argentina, one session for a working day
residentialpremium.quantumproxies.io:8080:USER-country-ar-sid-p01-ttl-480m:PASS
# profile 2: same plan, its own session (never reuse p01)
residentialpremium.quantumproxies.io:8080:USER-country-ar-sid-p02-ttl-480m:PASS
# profile 3: open all day
residentialpremium.quantumproxies.io:8080:USER-country-ar-sid-p03-ttl-1440m:PASS
- A different session ID in every profile. Two profiles on the same line share one IP, which is exactly what an antidetect browser is there to avoid.
- A lifetime longer than the work. The generator accepts up to 1440 minutes, a full day. When the session ends, the next request gets a new IP.
- WebRTC on Altered. Hidemyacc's documentation sets WebRTC by proxy type: Altered for a proxy that keeps its IP, Disable for a rotating one, because the WebRTC address is taken from the first IP seen when the profile runs. A sticky session keeps its IP, so Altered is right, as long as the session outlives the work.
With Session set to Sticky, the generator makes as many lines as the Quantity field says, ten by default, each with its own session ID, and Copy all or Download takes them out in the same format. One line per profile.

Residential Premium proxies in Hidemyacc
Residential Premium is the line used in the steps above: host residentialpremium.quantumproxies.io, HTTP on 8080 or SOCKS5 on 1080, username and password only. Besides the country, the generator can put a region, a city or an ISP in the username, and Hidemyacc passes it through untouched, so the targeting is all in the line you paste. It suits most profiles: home IPs in the country you choose, one sticky session each.
ISP proxies in Hidemyacc
An ISP plan gives fixed IP addresses instead of a gateway. In the QuanticData dashboard they are under Proxy endpoints, Assigned IPs: choose the Protocol and the Output format IP:Port:Username:Password, then copy one line, or Copy selected for several.

- Your Proxy, as for any other line.
- Connection type HTTP when the panel's Protocol is HTTP/HTTPS; for SOCKS5, switch the Protocol in the panel, copy the line again and choose Socks5.
- Quick add: one ISP line, for example
104.•••.•••.161:50100:USER:PASSwith your real IP and credentials. - Check Proxy, then Create. Each fixed IP goes to one profile only; there is no session ID to change, the address stays the same while the plan is active.

Mobile proxies in Hidemyacc
A mobile line goes in exactly like a Residential Premium one: host mobile.quantumproxies.io, HTTP on 8080 or SOCKS5 on 1080, and -type-mobile in the username next to the country and the session.
# mobile, sticky, Argentina (Connection type HTTP)
mobile.quantumproxies.io:8080:USER-country-ar-type-mobile-sid-m01-ttl-60m:PASS
- Gateway. The mobile generator offers four proxy hosts: Global, USA, EU and Asia. Pick the one closest to where the profile runs.
- IP whitelist. Mobile plans can also authenticate by your IP address: add it under IP whitelist in the dashboard, get the host:port list, and in Hidemyacc fill only IP address/Host and Port, leaving Username and Password empty.
- Android and iOS profiles. Hidemyacc profiles can run as Windows, macOS, Linux, Android or iOS (the last two from the Base plan up). The Proxy tab is the same for all of them, and a mobile line pairs naturally with an Android or iOS profile.
Which proxy type for which profile
| Proxy type | In Hidemyacc | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Residential Premium | One sticky line per profile in Quick add; country, region, city or ISP in the username; HTTP 8080 or Socks5 1080 | Most profiles: home IPs in the country you choose |
| ISP | One fixed IP per profile from Assigned IPs, as IP:Port:Username:Password | Accounts that should keep the same address for as long as the plan runs |
| Mobile | One sticky line per profile with -type-mobile in the username; Global, USA, EU or Asia gateway; IP whitelist available | Phone-first platforms, often with an Android or iOS profile |
For a wider view of why each profile needs its own address, see residential proxies for antidetect browsers and mobile proxies for antidetect browsers. The plans themselves are on the pages for QuanticData residential proxies, ISP proxies and QuanticData mobile proxies. If you also run Dolphin Anty, here is the same setup in Dolphin Anty.
Many profiles at once: the Proxy Manager
The Proxy Manager is Hidemyacc's store of proxies, kept apart from the profiles. Put the lines there once, then hand one to each profile.
- Make the lines. In the generator, set Session to Sticky and the quantity you need, generate, then Copy all or Download.
- Proxy Manager, Add Proxy. Choose the Connection type for the whole list, paste the lines into Proxy List, one per line, and add Tags (a country or a project) to find them later. Expires takes the plan's expiry date as a reminder. Click Add.
- Check them. Select the lines and click Check Proxy: each gets a status and a location.
- Give one to each profile. In a new profile, open the Proxy tab and click the Proxy Manager icon, then the line. For existing profiles, select them in Profiles, click Add Proxy, then the Proxy Manager icon, choose the lines and click Add.

All the sticky lines of one plan share the same host and port, and only the username tells them apart, so use Tags and Notes to know which line belongs to which profile. To create many profiles at once, Create multiple profiles also has a batch import file with a Proxy type column (http, socks4, socks5 or ssh) and a Proxy column in the format host:port:username:password.
A new IP for a profile
With Residential Premium and Mobile the IP is tied to the session ID in the username. For a fresh IP, put a line with a new session ID in the profile, for example -sid-p04 instead of -sid-p01, from the Proxy tab or with Add Proxy on the selected profile. The old line keeps working until its lifetime ends. ISP IPs are static by design: the address does not change.
Hidemyacc "Can't connect to proxy server": errors and fixes
When Check Proxy fails, Hidemyacc writes "Can't connect to proxy server" next to the button, and the profile should not be created on that line until the check passes. These are the causes behind it, in the order to check.

| What you see | Usual cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Can't connect to proxy server | The type does not match the port: HTTP on 1080 or Socks5 on 8080 | HTTP with 8080, Socks5 with 1080 |
| The same message, with the right type | The line was cut, a colon is missing, or a space came with the paste | Copy the line again from the generator's Preview and paste it whole |
| The check worked yesterday, fails today | The plan expired or its traffic is used up | Check the plan in My proxies: status, remaining traffic, expiry date |
| Wrong country, time zone or geolocation | No -country- in the username, or Worldwide chosen in the generator | Generate the line with a country; keep Timezone and Geolocation on their defaults |
| The IP changes in the middle of a session | The session lifetime ended, or two profiles share one session ID | A longer -ttl- and a different -sid- in every profile |
| An ISP line fails, the others work | The IP is not in Assigned IPs any more, or the protocol changed | Copy the line again from Assigned IPs with the protocol you chose |
One test outside the browser settles most cases in a minute. If this returns an address in the right country, the proxy works and the problem is in the profile's fields:
curl -x http://residentialpremium.quantumproxies.io:8080 \
-U "USER-country-ar-sid-test-ttl-10m:PASS" https://ipinfo.io/json
If the same command fails on your network but works from another one, a firewall or your provider is blocking the connection to the proxy port.
HTTP or Socks5 in Hidemyacc
Both work for browsing, and every QuanticData network offers both. HTTP on port 8080 is the simpler choice and the one to start with. SOCKS5 on port 1080 passes any kind of connection, not only web pages; the details are on the page for SOCKS5 proxies. What breaks a profile is never the choice itself, only a Connection type that does not match its port.
Before you run accounts
A proxy changes where a profile's traffic comes from, not what the profile is allowed to do. Keep to each platform's terms and to the law where you work, and use one profile, one session and one identity per account.
