To add a proxy in Hidemium, open Add Profile, go to the Proxy step and choose Your Proxy. Pick HTTP or SOCKS5 to match the port, paste the line into Format Proxy, check the four fields it fills, click Check Proxy and create the profile. Give every profile its own sticky session. Below: each step, ISP and mobile lines, bulk import and the errors.
Hidemium keeps every browser profile apart: its own cookies, its own fingerprint and, once you add one, its own proxy. The proxy decides which IP address, country and time zone the sites see, and Hidemium's Location settings follow it. The field names below are the ones in Hidemium's own documentation and screens, version 4, and the values come from the QuanticData endpoint generator.
What you need before you start
- Hidemium installed, with an account. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux and has a free plan with 5 profiles; the current limits are on Hidemium's site.
- A proxy plan. Residential Premium, ISP or mobile: all of them work in Hidemium. The table further down says which one fits which profile.
- The four values: host, port, username and password. In the QuanticData dashboard they are under My proxies, on the plan's page, in the Endpoint generator.
The proxy format Hidemium reads
Hidemium stores a proxy as five parts: type, host, port, username and password. Where you enter them decides the layout:
- Format Proxy, in a profile's Proxy step: paste the line as host:port:user:pass, the generator's default output format. Hidemium splits it into IP address, Port, Username and Password below it.
- IP address, Port, Username, Password: the same four values typed one by one. IP address takes a hostname too, so residentialpremium.quantumproxies.io goes there as it is.
- Import Proxy, in Proxy Manager: one proxy per line as Type|IP|port|username|password, the type in capitals.
The same QuanticData proxy in each layout:
# Format Proxy (host:port:user:pass)
residentialpremium.quantumproxies.io:8080:USER-country-vn-sid-p01-ttl-60m:PASS
# the four fields
IP address residentialpremium.quantumproxies.io
Port 8080
Username USER-country-vn-sid-p01-ttl-60m
Password PASS
# Import Proxy (Type|IP|port|username|password)
HTTP|residentialpremium.quantumproxies.io|8080|USER-country-vn-sid-p01-ttl-60m|PASS
The username is the whole string, with everything after the first dash: -country-vn picks the exit country, -sid-p01 names the session and -ttl-60m keeps it for 60 minutes. Copy it whole. A username cut at the first dash still logs in, but the profile then leaves from a random country on a new IP at every request.
Step by step: add a proxy to a Hidemium profile

- Generate the line. In the QuanticData dashboard open My proxies, then your plan. In the Endpoint generator choose the Country (and a Region or City if the profile needs one), set Session to Sticky, set Session TTL (minutes) to at least the time the profile stays open, choose the Protocol and keep the Output format on host:port:user:pass. The Preview shows the line; Connection details shows the same four values one by one.
- Open Create Profile in Hidemium. Click Add Profile. In the Newbie view, pick the platform, fill Base Info and click Next until you reach Proxy; in the Expert view (Go to Expert), click Proxy in the list on the left.
- Choose Your Proxy. Without proxy leaves the profile on your own connection.
- Pick the Proxy Type that matches the port. The choices are HTTP, SOCKS4, SOCKS5 and SSH (Proxy Over SSH): HTTP for port 8080, SOCKS5 for port 1080.
- Paste the line into Format Proxy. One line, no spaces, nothing after the password.
- Check the four fields. IP address, Port, Username and Password should now hold host, port, the whole username and the password. If a field stays empty, type the value from Connection details.
- Click Check Proxy. The Detail Proxy card on the right shows the exit IP, city, region, country and time zone. The country has to match the
-country-in the username. Check Proxy Host chooses the service that runs this check. - Leave Check proxy before start profile on. Hidemium then checks the proxy again each time the profile opens and refreshes the location it reports. Click Create profile, or Create and run profile to open it straight away.

Hidemium's Location settings take the time zone, geolocation, WebRTC address and language from the proxy, so a profile that leaves from Vietnam also looks like it is in Vietnam. Keep those options ticked. To change the proxy of a profile that already exists, open its proxy from the profiles list: the Edit proxy window has the same tabs and fields.
One sticky session per profile
An antidetect profile is meant to look like one person on one connection. A rotating proxy changes IP on every request, which is fine for scraping and wrong for a profile that logs in. A sticky session keeps one IP for as long as the session lives, and the session lives in the username, so the line never has to change once it is saved in the profile.
# profile 1: Vietnam, one session for a working day
residentialpremium.quantumproxies.io:8080:USER-country-vn-sid-p01-ttl-480m:PASS
# profile 2: same plan, its own session (never reuse p01)
residentialpremium.quantumproxies.io:8080:USER-country-vn-sid-p02-ttl-480m:PASS
# profile 3: another country, open all day
residentialpremium.quantumproxies.io:8080:USER-country-sg-sid-p03-ttl-1440m:PASS
Three rules cover almost every case:
- A different session ID in every profile. Two profiles on the same line share one IP, which is exactly what an antidetect browser is there to avoid.
- A lifetime longer than the work. The generator accepts up to 1440 minutes, a full day. When the session ends, the next request gets a new IP, and a site can see that as a new login location.
- The country in the username. Without
-country-the exit can be anywhere, and the profile's time zone will not match.
For a new IP on a profile, change only the session ID, -sid-p02 instead of -sid-p01, and paste the line again; the old line keeps working until its lifetime ends. With Session set to Sticky, the generator makes as many lines as the Quantity field says, ten by default, each with its own session ID, and Copy all or Download takes them out in the same format. One line per profile.

Residential Premium, ISP and mobile proxies in Hidemium
| Proxy type | In Hidemium | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Residential Premium | One sticky line per profile in Format Proxy; country, region, city or ISP in the username; HTTP 8080 or SOCKS5 1080 | Most profiles: home IPs in the country you choose, for example Vietnam residential proxies |
| ISP | Fixed IPs listed under Assigned IPs as IP:Port:Username:Password; HTTP 50100 or SOCKS5 50101; one IP per profile | Long-lived accounts that should keep the same address for months |
| Mobile | One sticky line per profile with -type-mobile in the username; Global, USA, EU or Asia gateway; HTTP 8080 or SOCKS5 1080; IP whitelist available | Phone-first platforms and accounts tied to mobile networks |
ISP. In the dashboard, Proxy endpoints, Assigned IPs lists one fixed IP per line as IP:Port:Username:Password, port 50100 with HTTP / HTTPS and 50101 with SOCKS5. The simplest way to keep them apart in Hidemium is to save them once: in Proxy Manager click Add Proxy, choose the Proxy type, enter IP address, Port, Username and Password, click Check proxy, then Add proxy. In each new profile the orange Select button on the Your Proxy tab picks one of the saved proxies; Random picks one at random, which is not what you want with one IP per account. The check shows the IP of the line itself: an ISP IP does not change.

Mobile. Mobile lines work like Residential Premium, with -type-mobile in the username: choose the gateway, Global, USA, EU or Asia, the country and the protocol, HTTP on 8080 or SOCKS5 on 1080. Mobile plans also offer IP whitelist authentication: add your IP in the dashboard and use the host:port list with Username and Password left empty.

For a wider view of why each profile needs its own address, see residential proxies for antidetect browsers. The plans themselves are on the pages for QuanticData residential proxies, ISP proxies (including Vietnam ISP proxies) and QuanticData mobile proxies, with Vietnam mobile proxies for the country used in this guide.
Adding proxies to many profiles at once
- Make the lines. In the generator, set Session to Sticky and the Quantity you need, generate, then Copy all or Download.
- Turn them into Hidemium's import format. Each line becomes Type|IP|port|username|password: replace the colons with vertical bars and put HTTP or SOCKS5 in front.
- Import them. In Proxy Manager click Import Proxy, choose the Proxy type, keep Type import on Text and paste the lines, or choose File for a .txt file in the same format. Click Import.
- Check them. Select the proxies in the list and check them: the Status column says Live or Die.
- Assign them. Pick one per profile with Select in the profile's Your Proxy tab, or select several profiles in the profiles list and use Change Proxy, which takes a proxy or several proxies from the list.

Hidemium proxy not working: Proxy die and other errors
When Check Proxy cannot get through the proxy, Hidemium shows a red Proxy die message and the Detail Proxy card stays empty; in Proxy Manager the same proxy gets the Die status. These are the cases behind it, in the order to check.

| What you see | Usual cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Proxy die after Check Proxy | The type does not match the port: SOCKS5 on 8080 or HTTP on 1080 | HTTP with 8080, SOCKS5 with 1080; for ISP, HTTP with 50100, SOCKS5 with 50101 |
| Proxy die, with the right type | The username was cut, a value landed in the wrong field, or a space came with the paste | Paste the line again from the generator's Preview and read the four fields |
| It worked yesterday, Die today | The plan expired or its traffic is used up | Check the plan in My proxies: status, remaining traffic, expiry date |
| The check fails but the proxy works elsewhere | The check service in Check Proxy Host did not answer | Choose another service in Check Proxy Host and check again |
| Wrong country or time zone in the profile | No -country- in the username, or the Location settings not following the proxy | Generate the line with a country; keep time zone and geolocation based on the proxy |
| The IP changes in the middle of a session | The session lifetime ended, or two profiles share one session ID | A longer -ttl- and a different -sid- in every profile |
One test outside the browser settles most cases in a minute. If this returns an address in the right country, the proxy works and the problem is in the profile's fields:
curl -x http://residentialpremium.quantumproxies.io:8080 \
-U "USER-country-vn-sid-test-ttl-10m:PASS" https://ipinfo.io/json
If the same command fails on your network but works from another one, a firewall or your provider is blocking the connection to the proxy port.
HTTP or SOCKS5 in Hidemium
Both work for browsing, and every QuanticData network offers both. HTTP on port 8080 is the simpler choice and the one to start with. SOCKS5 on port 1080 passes any kind of connection, not only web pages, which matters for tools inside the profile that do not speak HTTP; the details are on the page for SOCKS5 proxies. SOCKS4 and SSH are in Hidemium's list for other kinds of servers and are not used with QuanticData. What breaks a profile is never the choice itself, only a type that does not match its port.
Before you run accounts
A proxy changes where a profile's traffic comes from, not what the profile is allowed to do. Keep to each platform's terms and to the law where you work, and use one profile, one session and one identity per account.
