In our 102-domain census of 14 September 2026, yandex.ru published 2 AAAA records on the apex and 2 on www, and the host its homepage lands on, sso.passport.yandex.ru, resolves over IPv6 (home redirects to sso.passport.yandex.ru). Re-checked on 20 September 2026 from 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8: yandex.ru answers with 1 AAAA record, the first one 2a02:6b8:a::a. The hosts behind it: yandex.com (1 AAAA), dzen.ru (1 AAAA).
This is a DNS check, not a connection test: an AAAA record means an IPv6 exit can reach the host, and nothing more. What the platform serves to a given client is decided by its own rules, its rate limits per prefix and its anti-automation, which is why every page in this family says which jobs fit and which do not.

When IPv6 is the wrong network for Yandex
Yandex ID accounts — Direct, Webmaster, Mail — need a stable residential session in the account's region. IPv6 is for the anonymous search and Dzen surfaces. Note that from a non-Russian exit yandex.ru redirects to dzen.ru; that is Yandex's geo logic, not a proxy fault.
