What this list of Italian window and door installers is
It is the list of window and door businesses in an Italian area (window and door suppliers and resellers, PVC window shops and installers), with business name, operating address, phone, website and the emails published on that website. It is not an archive to download: it is extracted when you order it, so the collection date is the delivery date.
Searches for Italian window and door companies mostly return manufacturers’ own sites, quote portals for homeowners and lists of association members. This file is for something else: for whoever sells to the trade — profile systems, glass, hardware, quoting software — and needs the showroom, the phone and the website. On the map manufacturers, resellers and fitters often share the same category: the website, present on 61 of 66 rows, is what tells them apart.
The numbers on this page are for Bergamo: the «serramenti infissi» search of 4 October 2026 returned 72 listings. 6 listings belonged to other categories (a builder, a joinery, a painting firm, an upholsterer, a building-materials dealer and a window-tinting service) and we took them out. That leaves 66: 51 listed as window suppliers, 8 as door suppliers, the rest as PVC window shops, installers and one garage-door supplier.

A company picks its ATECO activity code when it registers and often never updates it when the business changes. We take the category the business shows today on its public listing, on Google Maps and on the Italian national directories.
The operating address, not only the registered office
The address is where the business works and answers the phone, not the registered office in the company register, which is sometimes only an administrative address.

Compliance: what is in the file and what is up to you
The list contains business contacts only: business name, operating address, published number, website and the emails the business publishes on its own website. No consumer data, no private contacts, no end-customer data, no personal profiles bought from third parties.
For business-to-business contact the legal basis is legitimate interest, which the GDPR names explicitly for direct marketing in recital 47. Many window fitters are craftsmen and sole traders: for them the contact detail counts as personal data and the processing has to be assessed case by case.
Email, SMS and automated messages need consent in Italy. Sending commercial communications through automated systems requires the recipient's prior consent, even when the recipient is a company or a professional (art. 130 of the Italian Privacy Code): the email column is for whoever already has that consent, or for the cases where the law does not require it, such as existing customers for similar products. Calls with a live operator are allowed only to numbers not listed in the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register.
When you receive the file you become an independent controller of the data: privacy notice, record of processing and replies to data subjects' requests are up to you.

It is current to the day of extraction: the list is generated when you order it, not pulled from an archive. Showrooms and workshops move or rebrand often, and many small fitters open and close their VAT number. The map status shows, row by row, who is marked as temporarily or permanently closed. On request it comes back every month with the changes only.
How many installers in the list have an email?
The emails do not come from an archive: we read them on the business website, so coverage depends on how many have one. In the Bergamo sample 61 installers out of 66 (92%) had a website to visit and 65 of 66 a published phone. In the free sample you see the real percentage for your area before you pay.
Is it legal to contact these window installers?
They are business contacts published by the businesses themselves; for B2B the GDPR allows legitimate interest (recital 47). Commercial emails and SMS sent through automated systems need the recipient's prior consent (art. 130 of the Italian Privacy Code), except the soft-spam case of existing customers for similar products.
