List of supermarkets in Italy with phone and address: at least 95 stores found in Turin in one run — any province on request
A list of supermarkets in Italy, store by store, with phone, address, website and the emails published. We extract it on request from Google Maps and the Italian national directories. In Turin one run found at least 95, many of them chain stores: the phone is the store's, the website is often the chain's. The first 20 rows are free.

What this list of grocery stores in Italy is
It is the list of the supermarkets in an Italian area (supermarkets, chain-branded convenience stores, discount stores and hypermarkets), with store name, address, phone, website and the emails published on that website. We extract it when you order it, so the collection date is the delivery date.
To be clear: many rows are stores of chains. In the 10 Turin rows below there are 10 stores but only 8 different websites, nearly all chain domains. For a buyer that means three things. The phone is the store's, useful for visits, deliveries and service. The email read on the website is the one the chain publishes, so it repeats across all its stores. And in the stores a chain runs directly, purchasing is often decided at head office, while affiliates and franchisees leave more room to the store owner.
The website thus becomes the simplest way to separate chains from independents: sort by that column and the stores of the same chain group together, leaving the independent supermarkets in view, where purchasing decisions sit close to the store. The count of 95 is for Turin and comes from a run that stopped before exhausting the city: there are at least that many supermarkets. The search returned 118 listings; 23 belonged to other categories (mostly grocery shops, 10, then local speciality shops, shopping centres and a chocolate shop) and we took them out: that is exactly what the category column in the file is for.
The fields you get on every row
These are the columns of the CSV or XLSX, one row per store. The enrichment fields (email, website status) are filled only when there is a reachable website.
| Field | Type | What it contains |
|---|---|---|
| Store name | text | The name on the listing, which for chains is the brand with the area or the street, such as «Pam Torino Svizzera». Two stores of the same chain stay two rows. |
| Category | text | The category declared on the listing: supermarket, discount store, hypermarket. Grocery shops and shopping centres stay out of the count, or in if you ask for them. |
| Address | text | Street and number of the store. A chain has one registered office for all its stores: here what counts is where the shelf is. |
| City, province and postcode | text | Three separate columns, so you split the list by sales territory or by visit round without reworking it. |
| Phone | text | The number published on the store listing, in international format. Sometimes it is the chain's freephone number: in the 10 Turin rows it happens once. Before a calling campaign the numbers must be screened against Italy's do-not-call register (Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni). |
| Website | URL | For chains it is the chain's domain, the same on all its stores: sorting by this column groups the list by chain and leaves the independents in view. |
| Email found on the website | text | The emails published on the website. For chains they are the chain's and repeat across all stores: to reach the single store you need the phone. |
| Opening hours | text | The store's opening hours when the listing shows them: for merchandisers they are the visit schedule. |
| Coordinates | lat / lon | Latitude and longitude of the store: they let you draw the visit rounds of agents and merchandisers. |
| Rating and number of reviews | number | The average star rating and how many reviews the store has collected: an order of magnitude of customer traffic. |
| Date of last review | date | When someone last wrote a review: the most honest signal that the store is still open. |
| Active | yes / doubtful / no | Flag computed from the date of the last review and the website status. «Doubtful» means to be checked: stores that change brand sometimes leave old listings behind. |
| Operating address confirmed | yes / no | It is yes when the map and the national directory show the same address for that store. |
| Source per row | text | Google Maps, national directory or both: every row says where it comes from. On request we add the VAT number where the register shows it, checked on VIES. |
How we build the list
Five choices that decide how many right rows end up in the file.
The sector from the listing, not from the ATECO code
A company picks its ATECO activity code when it registers and often never updates it when the business changes. We take the category the business shows today on its public listing, on Google Maps and on the Italian national directories.
The operating address, not only the registered office
The address is where the business works and answers the phone, not the registered office in the company register, which is sometimes only an administrative address.
Source and date for every field
Next to phone, website and email you see where the value came from and the day we read it.
Measured coverage
Every list says how many rows really have a phone, a website or an email, counted and not estimated. On this page, in Turin: phone 95% (90 of 95), website 95% (90 of 95). Email coverage is measured in the sample from your area.
Every month, only the changes
With the monthly refresh you receive new openings, closures and changed contact details, not the whole list again.
Before a calling campaign, Italian numbers must be screened against the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register. A business that finds itself in a list can ask to be removed: remove your business from our lists.
How the list is built
From the map to the file, step by step
Five steps, always the same. They are the same public collectors you find in the API: if you prefer, you can run them yourself.
1. Extraction from the map
The google_maps_places collector sweeps the area you name and collects one listing per store: name, category, address, phone, website, opening hours, coordinates, rating and reviews.
2. National directories for the independents
The business_directory collector goes over the same area on Pagine Gialle and Pagine Bianche. Chains are everywhere; small independent supermarkets sometimes have a well-kept listing only there.
3. Deduplication on name and street
We normalise name and address and merge the listings that describe the same store, without ever merging two stores of the same chain on different streets. The «source» column keeps track of where each row appeared.
4. Enrichment from the website
The local_business_leads collector visits the website shown on the listing and extracts the published emails, other phone numbers, social profiles and the website status. For chains there is only one website, and you see it from the repeated domain.
5. «Active» flag and delivery
From the date of the last review and the website status we derive the active / doubtful / no flag, then export to CSV or XLSX with the source on every row. On request we check the VAT numbers on VIES before delivery.

10 rows out of 95 supermarkets extracted in Turin (Torino); phones and emails are masked on this page. The run stopped before exhausting the city, so there are at least 95 supermarkets. The 10 rows have 8 different websites: crai.it and pampanorama.it appear twice each. Measured on 2026-10-01 in a single run; the counts refer to the city named, not to the whole of Italy.

Pricing
What it costs
Two ways. The self-service API if you want to rebuild the list yourself whenever you need it, the finished file if you only want to open the CSV and start. Prices are always «from»: they depend on how many businesses come out of the area you name.
local_business_leads collector, $2 of free credit every month, failed extractions not chargedThe API price is per row delivered: failed extractions are not charged and rows with neither phone nor website are not counted. Prices of the finished files exclude VAT.
Who buys a list of Italian supermarkets
Not shoppers: companies that sell to supermarkets or work inside the stores, and need the list store by store.
Local food producers
Whoever wants to get onto the shelves of their own province starts from the independents and the affiliates, where listing a local product is decided closer to the store.
Trade marketing and merchandising agencies
Promotions, displays, price checks: they need the address, coordinates and opening hours of every store, which is exactly the store-by-store list.
Refrigeration, shelving and maintenance
Refrigerated counters, cold rooms and systems need local service: you pitch with the store's phone and the address where the work is done.
Non-food distributors
Household goods, personal care, pet products: whoever supplies retail starts from the map of the stores in a province, chains and independents kept apart.
Cleaning, security and services
Contract services per store: grouping by chain tells you straight away whether to deal with the store or with the chain's head office.
In-store technology
Electronic shelf labels, self-checkouts, anti-theft systems: independent supermarkets are the ones that decide on their own, and the website column picks them out.
A bought list versus a list built on request
The six differences buyers tell us about after trying an archive file.
| Bought list | This list | |
|---|---|---|
| Unit of the row | Often the company: one row per chain, with the registered office. | The store: one row per store, even when the brand is the same. |
| Freshness | A static file: usually it does not say when it was collected. | Extracted the day you order it; on request it comes back every month with the changes only. |
| Address | The registered office: one address for hundreds of stores. | The address of every store, with coordinates and opening hours when the listing has them. |
| Origin of the emails | Origin not declared, often inherited from other lists. | Emails read on the website, with the page they come from: for chains you see it from the repeated domain. |
| Stores closed or rebranded | No signal: you find out by calling. | Active / doubtful / no flag and date of the last review on every row. |
| Pricing model | A package to buy whole, often national. | 20 free rows, then from $0.01 per lead through the API or from €290 per province. |
Compliance: what is in the file and what is up to you
The list contains business contacts only: store name, address, published number, website and the emails the supermarket or its chain publishes on the website. No customer or consumer data, no private contacts, no personal profiles bought from third parties.
For business-to-business contact the legal basis is legitimate interest, which the GDPR names explicitly for direct marketing in recital 47. Small supermarkets run by sole traders are flagged in a separate column, because for them the contact detail counts as personal data and the processing has to be assessed case by case.
Email, SMS and automated messages need consent in Italy. Sending commercial communications through automated systems requires the recipient's prior consent, even when the recipient is a company or a professional (art. 130 of the Italian Privacy Code): the email column is for whoever already has that consent or for one-to-one contacts. Calls with a live operator are allowed only to numbers not listed in the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register.
When you receive the file you become an independent controller of the data: privacy notice, record of processing and replies to data subjects' requests are up to you. Before any calling campaign the numbers must be screened against the do-not-call register; on request we check the VAT numbers on VIES before delivery.
If your business is in one of our lists and you want it out, the business name and the contact detail to remove are enough: remove your business from our lists.
Sources and standards: Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni (Italian do-not-call register) · Garante Privacy — telemarketing and unwanted calls · GDPR, recital 47 — legitimate interest · VIES — VAT number check, European Commission
Frequently asked questions
What buyers ask us before ordering. If something is missing, ask for the sample and write the question in the form: a person replies.
Ask for your sample →How many supermarkets are there in Italy, and how many belong to chains?
It depends on the area; we have not counted a national total. The only number we measured is Turin: at least 95 supermarkets in a single run on 1 October 2026, stopped before exhausting the city. How many belong to chains we have not counted either; the 10 sample rows have 8 different websites, nearly all chain domains. In the file you separate chains from independents by sorting on the website column.
What are the main supermarket chains in Italy?
Shoppers know the national names, such as Conad, Coop, Esselunga, Crai, Pam, Lidl and Eurospin, and many stores carry a chain's brand while being run by an affiliate or a franchisee. This page is not a ranking of chains: it is the store-level list, one row per store with its own address and phone, so chain stores and independent grocery stores of your province sit in the same file.
How up to date is the data?
It is current to the day of extraction, because the list is generated when you order it. That matters for supermarkets, where stores open, close or change brand: the date of the last review flags it row by row. On request we rebuild the file every month with the changes only, from €390/month.
Are the emails those of the single supermarket?
It depends. We read them on the website shown on the listing: in Turin 95% of supermarkets had one (90 of 95), but for chains it is the chain's website, so the email is the chain's and repeats across all its stores. For the single store the contact is the phone, present in 90 rows out of 95.
Is it legal to contact supermarkets with a commercial offer?
They are business contacts published by the stores or their chains. For B2B the GDPR allows legitimate interest under recital 47, and sole traders are flagged separately. When you receive the file you become an independent controller and, before calling, you must screen the numbers against Italy's do-not-call register. Automated email needs prior consent in Italy.
Can I download the list as CSV or Excel, and how fast?
CSV and XLSX, one row per store and the source on every row; JSON on request. The 20-row sample arrives within one business day. A full province usually takes one or two business days, because every website has to be visited one by one to read the published emails.
Is there a list of supermarkets in Italy with addresses and phone numbers by province?
Yes: Turin, Milan, Rome or any province, even a radius in kilometres around your warehouse. One province starts at €290; a region or all of Italy is quoted within 24 hours. You can also ask to keep only certain chains, or only the independent stores.
API or finished file: which is better?
The API makes sense if you have someone to integrate it and you want to rebuild the list yourself: you pay from $0.01 per lead and get $2 of free credit every month. The finished file makes sense if you need a province already deduplicated, enriched and checked, without writing a line of code.
What guarantee is there on quality?
Before buying you get 20 real rows from your area for free. After buying, every field we deliver is guaranteed: if a field is wrong, for example an email that does not exist, that row is refunded. For phones the refund applies when the number does not exist or is not valid, not when nobody answers, because a phone that is switched off cannot be verified. The guarantee covers the fields of the list you bought (with «phone only», the phone) and the period to report a row is stated in the order.
Can I import the list into my CRM?
Yes. The file arrives as CSV and XLSX with one column per field, so it loads through the contact import of HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo or monday CRM, or opens in Excel and Google Sheets. It pays to import every store as a contact and use the website to link the stores of the same chain. With the API the rows reach your systems without a file.
Want to see 20 supermarkets from your area?
Tell us the city or the province: we send you 20 complete rows within one business day, with no account and no card.
