What this list of electricians in Italy is
It is the list of the electricians in an Italian area — independent installers, electrical installation companies, maintenance firms — with business name, operating address, phone, website and the emails published on that website. It is not an archive to download: it is extracted when you order it, so the collection date is the delivery date.
It is a sector you reach by phone: in Bologna 118 electricians out of 122 had a published number, while a website was there in 60 cases out of 122. That is why the phone is normalised in the file and mobiles stay separate from landlines: often it is the owner's number, and the owner is also the one who buys.
One thing the file does not say: whether a company is certified. Whoever looks for certified electricians wants to know who can issue the declaration of conformity, and the qualification required by DM 37/2008 shows on the Chamber of Commerce company report (visura camerale), not on the map. How we counted it: in Bologna the search «elettricista» returned 178 listings; 56 were other categories (electrical supply shops, construction companies, air conditioning firms) and we removed them: that is exactly what the category column in the file is for. 122 electricians remain, in a single run on 1 October 2026: it is not a census of the city.
The fields you get on every row
These are the columns of the CSV or XLSX. The enrichment fields (email, social profiles, website status) are filled only for the businesses with a reachable website.
| Field | Type | What it contains |
|---|---|---|
| Business name | text | The name of the company or of the owner, cleaned of duplicates and of company forms written in different ways (snc, s.n.c., SNC). |
| Category | text | The category declared on the listing: it separates electricians from the neighbouring listings the search brings along, such as electrical supply shops, construction companies and air conditioning firms. |
| Address | text | Street and number of the operating address: the workshop or the warehouse, not the house of the client of the day. |
| City, province and postcode | text | Three separate columns in the file, so you can split the list by sales territory without reworking it. |
| Phone | text | The number published on the listing, normalised to international format; mobiles, often the owner's, stay separate from landlines. Before a calling campaign the numbers must be screened against Italy's do-not-call register (Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni). |
| Website | URL | The company domain. When the column is empty the company has no website: in Bologna that happened in 62 cases out of 122. |
| Email found on the website | text | The emails published on the business website, read from the site itself during enrichment. More than one when there are several. |
| Social profiles | URL | Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn linked from the website: useful when the owner is on a job and does not answer. |
| Opening hours | text | The opening hours when the listing shows them: they tell you who declares availability in the evening or at weekends. |
| Rating and reviews | number | Average star rating and number of reviews on the listing, where they exist: an order of magnitude of the call-outs for private clients. |
| Date of last review | date | When someone last wrote a review: the most honest signal that the business is still trading. |
| Active | yes / doubtful / no | Flag computed from the date of the last review and the website status. «Doubtful» means to be checked, not to be thrown away. |
| Operating address confirmed | yes / no | It is yes when the map and the national directory show the same address. It is the field that keeps your sales agent from going to the wrong address. |
| Source per row | text | Google Maps, national directory or both: every row says where it comes from. On request we add the VAT number where the register shows it, checked on VIES. |
How we build the list
Five choices that decide how many right rows end up in the file.
The sector from the listing, not from the ATECO code
A company picks its ATECO activity code when it registers and often never updates it when the business changes. We take the category the business shows today on its public listing, on Google Maps and on the Italian national directories.
The operating address, not only the registered office
The address is where the business works and answers the phone, not the registered office in the company register, which is sometimes only an administrative address.
Source and date for every field
Next to phone, website and email you see where the value came from and the day we read it.
Measured coverage
Every list says how many rows really have a phone, a website or an email, counted and not estimated. On this page, in Bologna: phone 97% (118 of 122), website 49% (60 of 122). Email coverage is measured in the sample from your area.
Every month, only the changes
With the monthly refresh you receive new openings, closures and changed contact details, not the whole list again.
Before a calling campaign, Italian numbers must be screened against the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register. A business that finds itself in a list can ask to be removed: remove your business from our lists.
How the list is built
From the map to the file, step by step
Five steps, always the same. They are the same public collectors you find in the API: if you prefer, you can run them yourself.
1. Extraction from the map
The google_maps_places collector sweeps the area you name with the search «elettricista» and collects every listing: name, category, address, phone, website, rating and reviews. It is the source that covers the companies with an operating address marked on the map.
2. National directories for the craftsmen
The business_directory collector goes over the same area on the Italian national directories (Pagine Gialle and Pagine Bianche). It is there for the installers who work alone, with a van and word of mouth, and have a thin listing on the map or none at all. The two sources complete each other, they do not replace each other.
3. Deduplication on name and street
We normalise business name and address (abbreviations, punctuation, company forms) and merge the listings that describe the same company. One row is left, but the «source» column keeps track of where it appeared.
4. Enrichment from the website
The local_business_leads collector visits the website of each business and extracts the published emails, other phone numbers, social profiles and the website status. The emails do not come from a purchased archive: they come from the business's own website, and we know from which page.
5. «Active» flag and delivery
From the date of the last review and the website status we derive the active / doubtful / no flag, then export to CSV or XLSX with the source on every row. On request we remove the categories you do not need and check the VAT numbers on VIES before delivery.

Pricing
What it costs
Two ways. The self-service API if you want to rebuild the list yourself whenever you need it, the finished file if you only want to open the CSV and start. Prices are always «from»: they depend on how many businesses come out of the area you name.
local_business_leads collector, $2 of free credit every month, failed extractions not chargedThe API price is per row delivered: failed extractions are not charged and rows with neither phone nor website are not counted. Prices of the finished files exclude VAT.
Who buys a list of electricians in Italy
Not people looking for an electrician at home, and not job seekers: companies that sell to installers, who buy material every week.
Electrical wholesalers
Cables, distribution boards, switches and sockets: sales go over the counter and through agents, by area, so you need the operating address and the owner's phone.
Solar and battery storage
Manufacturers and distributors looking for installer partners: the list is built by province and filtered on active companies.
EV charging
Whoever sells wallboxes and charging points needs installers in the territory: the radius in kilometres counts, not the registered office.
Home automation and security
Intruder alarms, CCTV, automation: the company website tells you whether it already offers these systems or is a client to convince.
Test instruments and tools
Testers, installation testers, hand tools: a recurring purchase you sell to those who are still working, and the date of the last review tells you who they are.
Job and quote management software
Scheduling, job sheets, invoices: 62 Bologna electricians out of 122 had no website, and they are the first to call for an online presence too.
A bought list versus a list built on request
The six differences buyers tell us about after trying an archive file.
| Bought list | This list | |
|---|---|---|
| Freshness | A static file: usually it does not say when it was collected. | Extracted the day you order it; on request it comes back every month with the changes only. |
| Source per row | One big pool, with no way to know where each contact comes from. | Every row states the source: map, national directory or both. |
| Address | Often the registered office or the owner's home address. | The operating address, with the «confirmed» flag when the two sources agree. |
| Origin of the emails | Origin not declared, often inherited from other lists. | Emails read on the company website, with the page they come from. |
| Closed businesses | No signal: you find out by calling. | Active / doubtful / no flag and date of the last review on every row. |
| Pricing model | A package to buy whole, often national. | 20 free rows, then from $0.01 per lead through the API or from €290 per province. |
Compliance: what is in the file and what is up to you
The list contains business contacts only: business name, operating address, published number, website and the emails the company publishes on its own website. No data on the installers' clients, no private contacts, no personal profiles bought from third parties.
For business-to-business contact the legal basis is legitimate interest, which the GDPR names explicitly for direct marketing in recital 47. Many electricians are sole-trader craft businesses: we flag them in a separate column, because for them the contact detail counts as personal data and the processing has to be assessed case by case.
Email, SMS and automated messages need consent in Italy. Sending commercial communications through automated systems requires the recipient's prior consent, even when the recipient is a company or a professional (art. 130 of the Italian Privacy Code): the email column is for whoever already has that consent or for one-to-one contacts. Calls with a live operator are allowed only to numbers not listed in the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register.
When you receive the file you become an independent controller of the data: privacy notice, record of processing and replies to data subjects' requests are up to you. Before any calling campaign the numbers must be screened against the do-not-call register; on request we check the VAT numbers on VIES before delivery.
If your business is in one of our lists and you want it out, the business name and the contact detail to remove are enough: remove your business from our lists.
Sources and standards: Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni (Italian do-not-call register) · Garante Privacy — telemarketing and unwanted calls · GDPR, recital 47 — legitimate interest · VIES — VAT number check, European Commission
Frequently asked questions
What buyers ask us before ordering. If something is missing, ask for the sample and write the question in the form: a person replies.
Ask for your sample →How many electricians are there in Italy?
We have not counted a national total, so we do not publish one. The only number we measured is Bologna: 122 electricians in a single run on 1 October 2026, searching «elettricista» and removing shops and other categories. They are listings on the map, not certified companies: certification shows on the Chamber of Commerce report. Before you order we tell you how many rows come out of your province.
Does the list include sole-trader electricians or only companies?
Both. Many Italian electricians are sole-trader craft businesses working alone with a van, and the national directories bring in the ones with a thin map listing or none. Sole traders are flagged in a separate column, because their contact details count as personal data and the processing has to be assessed case by case.
Are electrical wholesalers and supply shops included?
No. The search for «elettricista» also brings up electrical supply shops, construction companies and air conditioning firms: in Bologna they were 56 of the 178 listings, removed by category. The list keeps the electricians and the electrical installation companies. If you sell to the supply shops too, write it in the form.
How up to date is the data?
It is current to the day of extraction, because the list is generated when you order it instead of being pulled from an archive. The date-of-last-review column tells you, row by row, whether the electricians still have clients writing about them. On request we rebuild the file every month and deliver only the changes.
Can I get electricians' phone numbers and emails in Italy?
Phone numbers, yes: in Bologna 118 electricians out of 122 had one. The emails do not come from an archive: we read them on the business website, so coverage depends on how many have one. In the Bologna sample, 60 electricians out of 122 (49%) had a website to visit. In the free sample you see the real percentage for your area, and we do not promise an email on every row.
Is it legal to contact these electricians?
They are business contacts published by the companies themselves. For B2B the GDPR allows legitimate interest under recital 47, and sole traders are flagged separately. When you receive the file you become an independent controller and, before calling, you must screen the numbers against Italy's do-not-call register. Automated email needs prior consent in Italy.
Can I download the list as CSV or Excel, and how fast?
CSV and XLSX, with the source on every row; JSON on request. The 20-row sample arrives within one business day. A full province usually takes one or two business days, because every website has to be visited one by one to read the emails and social profiles.
Can I get the electrical contractors of one Italian province only?
Yes, and it is the most requested cut: one province starts at €290. You can also name a radius in kilometres from your shop, a list of municipalities or a neighbourhood. There is no national package you have to buy whole before you can get your area.
API or finished file: which is better?
The API makes sense if you have someone to integrate it and you want to rebuild the list yourself: you pay from $0.01 per lead and get $2 of free credit every month. The finished file makes sense if you need a province already deduplicated, enriched and checked, without writing a line of code.
What guarantee is there on quality?
Before buying you get 20 real rows from your area for free. After buying, every field we deliver is guaranteed: if a field is wrong, for example an email that does not exist, that row is refunded. For phones the refund applies when the number does not exist or is not valid, not when nobody answers, because a phone that is switched off cannot be verified. The guarantee covers the fields of the list you bought (with «phone only», the phone) and the period to report a row is stated in the order.
Can I import the list into my CRM?
Yes. The file arrives as CSV and XLSX with one column per field (name, phone, email, operating address, website), so the list of electricians loads through the contact import of HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo and monday CRM, or opens in Excel and Google Sheets. With the API the rows reach your systems without a file.
Want to see 20 electricians from your area?
Tell us the city or the province: we send you 20 complete rows within one business day, with no account and no card.
