What is LinkedIn, and why put a proxy in front of it?

LinkedIn is the B2B internet: company pages, job postings, professional profiles and the sales and recruiting tools built on them. Why mobile proxies for LinkedIn

LinkedIn's app is a large share of its traffic, and an account that logs in from a carrier IP shared with thousands of real users, on a sticky session all day, looks like a professional on their phone. For sales and recruiting seats whose value is high, mobile is the safer default.

What a proxy does not do.
