It is not a membership comparison site: it is the file for whoever sells to gyms. In Milan one run returned at least 140 gyms. What this list of Italian gyms is
It is the list of the gyms in an Italian area (gyms, fitness centres, functional training boxes and training studios), with business name, club address, phone, website and the emails published on that website. It is not an archive to download: it is extracted when you order it, so the collection date is the delivery date.
Whoever looks for a list of gyms in Italy mostly finds the gyms that accept a public voucher or a membership platform, and rankings of the best-looking clubs. Our file is for something else: for whoever sells to gyms and needs every gym in an area, chains and independents, with phone, website and email.
The numbers on this page are for Milan: the «palestra» search of 4 October 2026 returned 176 listings; 36 belonged to other categories and we took them out, because that is exactly what the category column in the file is for. That leaves 140 gyms and fitness centres. Next to the chains there are many amateur sports associations, recognisable by the A.S.D. in their name.
The fields you get on every row
These are the columns of the CSV or XLSX. Email and website appear only on the rows of businesses that publish them.

Collecting a value is not checking it: this is what we do, row by row, before the file reaches you.
The sector from the listing, not the ATECO code
A company picks its ATECO activity code when it registers and often never updates it. We take the category the business shows today on its public listing; listings of other categories stay out.
Operating address confirmed
The column says «yes» when the map listing and the national directory listing give the same address; otherwise it says which of the two sources gives it.
No duplicates, not even across orders
Listings of the same business become one row, and a business you already received in an earlier order does not reach you again.
The contacts you already have stay out
If you upload a file of your contacts to the dashboard (emails, phones, websites or VAT numbers), those businesses stay out of the list and are not charged.
Date read on every row
The «Checked on» column is the day we read the sources of that row; «Directory listing» and «Map listing» link to the pages it comes from.
Emails read on the website, with their type
The email is the one the business publishes on its own website, with its type: generic, personal or certified (PEC). We deliver only emails whose domain has a mail server (MX check): the others stay empty and are not charged as rows with an email.
Phones in international format
Every number is written as +39 followed by the number, with a second phone when the business publishes two.
Before a calling campaign, Italian numbers must be screened against the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register. A business that finds itself in a list can ask to be removed: remove your business from our lists.

You pay for the rows you receive: one whole province, or up to 60 municipalities of the same province, as CSV or XLSX. First you download 20 real rows for free.
Measured example. Gyms in Milan: at least 140 found in one run on 4 October 2026. That is under the 150-row minimum order: you set 150 rows as the cap and pay only for the rows delivered, here from about €11 + VAT.
Prices exclude VAT (Italian VAT 22%). Minimum order 150 rows. When you order you set the most rows you want: you pay only for the rows delivered.
You pay from your account balance, which is in US dollars: in the dashboard the price per row and the spend cap are shown in dollars. The balance is topped up by card or PayPal, with 22% VAT on the top-up.

For 30 days from delivery you report, row by row, a wrong field: an email that bounces, a phone number that does not exist or is invalid, a business that is closed, a wrong category. You do it from «My lists», with «Report a wrong field». For every accepted report the price of that row goes back to your QuanticData balance: at once if the email domain no longer receives mail or the number is not a valid Italian number, after a check by our team in the other cases. Large premises open many hours a day: energy, cleaning and insurance contracts are offered to the club, not the company.
Compliance: what is in the file and what is up to you
The list contains business contacts only: business name, operating address, published number, website and the emails the gym publishes on its own website. No consumer data, no private contacts, no member data, no personal profiles bought from third parties.
For business-to-business contact the legal basis is legitimate interest, which the GDPR names explicitly for direct marketing in recital 47. For sole traders and self-employed professionals the contact detail counts as personal data and the processing has to be assessed case by case.
Email, SMS and automated messages need consent in Italy. Sending commercial communications through automated systems requires the recipient's prior consent, even when the recipient is a company or a professional (art. 130 of the Italian Privacy Code): the email column is for whoever already has that consent, or for the cases where the law does not require it, such as existing customers for similar products. Calls with a live operator are allowed only to numbers not listed in the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register.
When you receive the file you become an independent controller of the data: privacy notice, record of processing and replies to data subjects' requests are up to you.
If your business is in one of our lists and you want it out, the business name and the contact detail to remove are enough: remove your business from our lists.

It depends on the area. The only number we measured is Milan: at least 140 gyms and fitness centres in a single run on 4 October 2026, after removing 36 listings of other categories. We do not publish a national total because we have not counted one: before you order we tell you how many rows come out of your province.
Where do the gym emails come from?
We read them on each gym's own website; we do not take them from an archive, so coverage depends on how many have a website. In Milan 134 gyms out of 140 (96%) had one, and 139 out of 140 (99%) had a published phone number. In the free sample you see how many rows have an email before you pay.
Does the list include chains and sports associations?
Yes. It counts listings whose category is gym, fitness centre or gymnastics centre: chain clubs, independent gyms and amateur sports associations. Each chain club is a row of its own, with its own address. Yoga and pilates studios and swimming pools stay out of the count, but can be added on request.
How up to date is the data?
It is current to the day of extraction, because the list is generated when you order it instead of being pulled from an archive. The map status shows, row by row, who is marked as temporarily or permanently closed.
Is it legal to contact these gyms?
They are business contacts published by the businesses themselves; for B2B the GDPR allows legitimate interest (recital 47). Commercial emails and SMS sent through automated systems need the recipient's prior consent (art. 130 of the Italian Privacy Code), except the soft-spam case of existing customers for similar products. Operator calls are allowed to numbers not listed in Italy's do-not-call register, the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni. With the file you become an independent controller.
Can I get a list of gyms for one province or city?
