What this list of car dealers in Italy is
It is the list of the car dealerships in an Italian area — franchised dealers of a brand, multi-brand showrooms and used car dealers — with business name, showroom address, phone, website and the emails published on that website. It is not an archive to download: it is extracted when you order it, so the collection date is the delivery date.
The sector is organised in groups: the same group runs several brands and several showrooms, sometimes on the same street. In the Bari sample the same group appears twice on the same street, one row for the showroom and one for the Alfa Romeo brand, with the same phone and the same domain. The file keeps separate rows per showroom and brand, because they are different points of sale; if you need one contact per group, you group them by phone or by domain. The website also helps to recognise the franchise: some official dealers use an address on the manufacturer's domain, as you can see in the sample.
The numbers on this page are for Bari: the search «concessionaria auto» (car dealership) on 1 October 2026 returned 142 listings after deduplication; 59 were other categories (motorcycle dealers, rentals, workshops and mechanics, parts) and we removed them, because that is exactly what the category column in the file is for. Single-brand listings are all in, from «Concessionaria Alfa Romeo» to «Concessionario Toyota». At least 83 dealerships remain.
The fields you get on every row
These are the columns of the CSV or XLSX. Email and email type are filled only for the businesses with a reachable website.
| Field | Type | What it contains |
|---|---|---|
| Business | text | The name the business shows on its public listing. |
| Category | text | The category the listing shows today. Listings of other categories are left out. |
| Address, postcode, comune and province | text | The operating address, where the business works and answers, in separate columns so you can split the list by area. |
| Phone and Phone 2 | text | The published numbers, in international format. Before a calling campaign the numbers must be screened against Italy's do-not-call register (Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni). |
| Email and email type | text | The email the business publishes on its own website, with its type: generic, personal or certified (PEC). Empty when we did not find one. |
| Website | URL | The business domain when we find it on the listing; empty when we do not. |
| Operating address check | yes / no | Yes when the map listing and the national directory listing show the same address. |
| Status on the map | text | Hours shown, temporarily closed or permanently closed, as the listing shows it on the day we read it. |
| Rating and number of reviews | number | The average rating and the review count of the listing: an order of magnitude of the client volume. |
| Directory and map listing | URL | The two public pages the row comes from: the source of every value, open to check. |
| Checked on | date | The day we read the sources for that row. |
| Row ID | text | A stable code, so the same business does not reach you twice across orders. |

What we check on every row
Collecting a value is not checking it: this is what we do, row by row, before the file reaches you.
The sector from the listing, not the ATECO code
A company picks its ATECO activity code when it registers and often never updates it. We take the category the business shows today on its public listing; listings of other categories stay out.
Operating address confirmed
The column says «yes» when the map listing and the national directory listing give the same address; otherwise it says which of the two sources gives it.
No duplicates, not even across orders
Listings of the same business become one row, and a business you already received in an earlier order does not reach you again.
The contacts you already have stay out
If you upload a file of your contacts to the dashboard (emails, phones, websites or VAT numbers), those businesses stay out of the list and are not charged.
Date read on every row
The «Checked on» column is the day we read the sources of that row; «Directory listing» and «Map listing» link to the pages it comes from.
Emails read on the website, with their type
The email is the one the business publishes on its own website, with its type: generic, personal or certified (PEC). We deliver only emails whose domain has a mail server (MX check): the others stay empty and are not charged as rows with an email.
Phones in international format
Every number is written as +39 followed by the number, with a second phone when the business publishes two.
Before a calling campaign, Italian numbers must be screened against the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register. A business that finds itself in a list can ask to be removed: remove your business from our lists.

Pricing
What it costs
You pay for the rows you receive: one whole province, or up to 60 municipalities of the same province, as CSV or XLSX. First you download 20 real rows for free.
Measured example. Car dealers in Bari: at least 83 found in one run on 1 October 2026. That is under the 150-row minimum order: you set 150 rows as the cap and pay only for the rows delivered, here from about €7 + VAT.
Prices exclude VAT (Italian VAT 22%). Minimum order 150 rows. When you order you set the most rows you want: you pay only for the rows delivered.
You pay from your account balance, which is in US dollars: in the dashboard the price per row and the spend cap are shown in dollars. The balance is topped up by card or PayPal, with 22% VAT on the top-up.
30-day guarantee
For 30 days from delivery you report, row by row, a wrong field: an email that bounces, a phone number that does not exist or is invalid, a business that is closed, a wrong category. You do it from «My lists», with «Report a wrong field». For every accepted report the price of that row goes back to your QuanticData balance: at once if the email domain no longer receives mail or the number is not a valid Italian number, after a check by our team in the other cases. Phones that are switched off or not answered are not covered.
Would you rather build it yourself? Self-service API: from $0.01 per lead, local_business_leads collector, $2 of free credit every month, failed extractions not charged.
Who buys a list of car dealers in Italy
Not people looking for a car: companies that sell to dealerships and need the right showroom and its phone.
Finance and consumer credit
Whoever offers car finance and leasing in the showroom looks for active dealers, split between franchised and used.
Extended warranties and insurance
Used car policies and add-on cover: the «Rivenditore di auto usate» (used car dealer) category is the first filter.
Dealer software
Dealer management systems, CRM and tools to publish the stock online: the website tells you how digital the showroom already is.
Parts, tyres and used car reconditioning
Recurring local supplies: what counts is the address of the showroom and of the used car centre, not of the group's head office.
Used car buying and trade-in services
Whoever buys cars from private sellers and resells them to showrooms looks for multi-brand dealers area by area.
Marketing and lead generation agencies
Websites, local campaigns and review management: rating and number of reviews tell you where to start.
Compliance: what is in the file and what is up to you
The list contains business contacts only: business name, showroom address, published number, website and the emails the dealer publishes on its own website. No consumer data, no private contacts, no personal profiles bought from third parties.
For business-to-business contact the legal basis is legitimate interest, which the GDPR names explicitly for direct marketing in recital 47. Official dealers are almost always companies, but among the small used car showrooms there are sole traders: for them the contact detail counts as personal data and the processing has to be assessed case by case.
Email, SMS and automated messages need consent in Italy. Sending commercial communications through automated systems requires the recipient's prior consent, even when the recipient is a company or a professional (art. 130 of the Italian Privacy Code): the email column is for whoever already has that consent, or for the cases where the law does not require it, such as existing customers for similar products. Calls with a live operator are allowed only to numbers not listed in the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register.
When you receive the file you become an independent controller of the data: privacy notice, record of processing and replies to data subjects' requests are up to you.
If your business is in one of our lists and you want it out, the business name and the contact detail to remove are enough: remove your business from our lists.
Sources and standards: Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni (Italian do-not-call register) · Garante Privacy — telemarketing and unwanted calls · GDPR, recital 47 — legitimate interest
Frequently asked questions
What buyers ask us before ordering. If something is missing, write the question in the form above: a person replies.
Ask us a question →How many car dealers are there in Italy?
We have not counted a national total, so we do not publish one. The only number we measured is Bari: at least 83 dealerships in a single run on 1 October 2026. When you order you set the most rows you want and pay only for the rows delivered.
How up to date is the data?
It is current to the day of extraction, because the list is generated when you order it instead of being pulled from an archive. The «Checked on» column tells you, row by row, the day we read the sources.
Can I get car dealers' emails and websites in Italy?
Yes, where the dealer publishes them. The emails do not come from an archive: we read them on the dealer's website, so coverage depends on how many have one. In the Bari sample, 74 dealerships out of 83 (89%) had a website to visit. In the free sample you see how many rows have an email before you pay.
Does the list include used car dealers as well as franchised brand dealers?
Yes. The file covers franchised dealers of a brand, multi-brand showrooms and used car dealers, and the category column tells them apart: «Concessionaria Alfa Romeo» is a brand dealer, «Rivenditore di auto usate» a used car dealer. Motorcycle dealers, rentals, workshops and parts sellers stay out: in Bari they were 59 of the 142 listings. If you sell to one type only, filter on that column.
Is it legal to contact car dealerships in Italy?
They are business contacts published by the dealers themselves, and for B2B the GDPR allows legitimate interest (recital 47). Commercial emails and SMS sent with automated systems need the recipient's prior consent (art. 130 of the Italian Privacy Code), except for existing customers buying similar products. Operator calls are allowed to numbers not listed in the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register.
Can I download the list as CSV or Excel, and how fast?
CSV or XLSX, with the source and the date we read it on every row. You download the 20-row sample after creating the free account: at once if it is ready, otherwise after a few minutes. The list you order is built from the sources at that moment: a province usually takes about ten minutes and the file stays in «My lists».
Can I buy one province only, or a few municipalities?
Yes: you order one whole province, or pick up to 60 municipalities of the same province. It costs €0.08 per row + VAT, with a minimum order of 150 rows, and you pay only for the rows delivered.
API or finished file: which is better?
The API makes sense if you have someone to integrate it and you want to rebuild the list yourself: you pay from $0.01 per lead and get $2 of free credit every month. The finished file makes sense if you need a province already deduplicated, enriched and checked, without writing a line of code.
What guarantee is there on quality?
For 30 days from delivery you report, row by row, a wrong field: an email that bounces, a phone number that does not exist or is invalid, a business that is closed, a wrong category. You do it from «My lists», with «Report a wrong field». For every accepted report the price of that row goes back to your QuanticData balance: at once if the email domain no longer receives mail or the number is not a valid Italian number, after a check by our team in the other cases. Phones that are switched off or not answered are not covered.
Can I import the list into my CRM?
Yes. The file arrives as CSV and XLSX with one column per field (name, phone, email, operating address, website), so the list of car dealers loads through the contact import of HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo and monday CRM, or opens in Excel and Google Sheets. With the API the rows reach your systems without a file.
