MaskFog Proxy Setup: Configure a Proxy Device and Bind It

MaskFog stores proxies as devices. In the New Browser Profile page set Proxy setting to Custom and open the Proxy page, click Configure Device on a free device and type the type, host, port, username and password in Edit proxy. Check Proxy verifies the exit; Bind attaches the device to the profile.

Set up the proxy in MaskFog

Open MaskFog, follow the 6 moves below and finish with the tool's own check. The values are in the table after the steps.

  1. 01

    Create a new browser profile

Open MaskFog and click New Profile on the left. Enter the profile name and the browser and User-Agent settings you want.

    Check the proxy

Click Check Proxy. Connection test passed with the exit IP, country, region and city means the line works; click OK.

  6. 06

Bind the device to the profile

Back on the Proxy page click Bind on the configured device; the profile page now shows the bound proxy. Create the profile and launch it.

Check it

Check Proxy, next to Proxy Host in Edit proxy. Connection test passed lists the exit IP and location.

Create and open the profile; the bound device routes its traffic. The bound proxy is listed on the profile page.

What to type: ports and the username

Copy the line from the dashboard (Proxies, your plan, the generator) rather than typing it: it already carries the host, the country, the session id and the session length. The table shows what each field holds.

The host and the password are in the same line. Pick HTTP or SOCKS5 in the tool and use the port of that column; a port from the other column is the most common reason a check fails. On Premium ISP city plans one port serves both types. USER and the session id stand for your own values.

Where the line comes from in the dashboard

  • QuanticData Premium ISP plan step: number of IPs 1 selected, $4.99 for 30 days and the Buy 1 IP button
Step 3: the number of IPs, the price for 30 days and the Buy button. One IP is one antidetect profile.
  • QuanticData ISP plan page with the assigned IP, port, username and masked password, the protocol switch HTTP or SOCKS5 and the formatted output line
After payment the plan is in My proxies: each IP comes as IP:Port:Username:Password, HTTP or SOCKS5, ready to paste into the tool.
  • QuanticData residential plan generator with country United States, Max pool, Sticky session of 30 minutes, HTTP, 10 sessions and the host:port:user:pass output format
The plan page has the generator: country, pool, Sticky session with its TTL, HTTP or SOCKS5, then one line per profile in host:port:user:pass.

The whole buying flow, both routes and the prices are on the integrations page.

MaskFog proxy questions

What customers ask when they put a QuanticData line into MaskFog.

Something else? Ask us

What is a proxy device in MaskFog?

A slot that holds one proxy line. You configure it once with host, port, username and password and bind it to a profile; one device per profile keeps IPs separate.

HTTP or SOCKS5 in MaskFog?

Both. HTTP with the HTTP port of your plan, SOCKS5 with the SOCKS5 port, same host and login.

Can MaskFog paste a full proxy line?

Edit proxy has separate fields for host, port, username and password; paste each value from the generator line.

Which QuanticData plan works best in MaskFog?

One dedicated ISP IP per profile, from $2.69 for 30 days with unlimited traffic, is the simplest. For social and ad accounts the mobile line, $5 for 1 GB, with one sticky session per profile is the strongest.
