What happened to NetNut

On 2 July 2026 the FBI, working with Google's Threat Intelligence Group, seized domains associated with NetNut. Reuters reported that Google disrupted a network of internet-connected devices used to conceal and route malicious traffic, and Krebs on Security, The Register and Infosecurity Magazine covered the operation. NetNut's operator, Alarum Technologies (Nasdaq: ALAR), issued a statement on the seizure. This page reports what was published; it is not a legal assessment.
