SERP API · Google Hotels

Google Hotels API

The hotels Google shows for a destination and dates, returned as JSON: name, nightly price, total price, currency, rating, number of reviews, amenities and the link. This is the SERP API with search_type: "hotels"; Google has no public API for these results. You pay per search.

A Google Hotels search for Rome, Italy, two nights from 2026-11-29 for two adults in euro: the first property card in the middle, then the real properties[0] JSON with the name masked, rating 3.8, €109 a night, €264 in total and amenities. Rendered page, as the answer's path says: $0.002 per search.
Google Hotels as JSON: nightly and total price, rating and amenities for your dates and guests.

The first property of the real answer to this request, 30 October 2026 (long URLs shortened).

The answer is the usual envelope: payload.properties holds the list above, payload.search_metadata says which tier answered and how long it took.

Parameters

Where, when, for how many.

Request parameters for search_type: hotels
ParameterMeaning
queryDestination ("Rome, Italy")
check_in_date, check_out_dateYYYY-MM-DD
adultsGuests, 1 to 30
currencyPrice currency: USD, EUR…
countryProxy exit and Google locale (gl), ISO code: us, gb, de, it…
langInterface language (hl): en, de, it…
devicedesktop (default), mobile, ios or android

Every parameter, for every vertical, is in the API reference.

Price

Per search, nothing monthly.

A successful search costs $0.0009 when Google's plain page answers and $0.002 when the rendered page is needed; search_metadata.path in the answer says which one you got. In our test on 30 October 2026 the call answered from the rendered page in 12.16 seconds.

Failed searches are not charged. There is no subscription: a $2 free credit every month covers the first calls, then you top up your balance by card, PayPal or crypto.

If you would rather pay per property than per search, the Hotels collector returns the same data at $0.002 per delivered property (up to 50 per run), with no pagination to handle.

Every price per search and per vertical: SERP API pricing.

Official API or this one

Google Hotels has no public read API.

Hotels and travel agencies send prices to Google through its partner programs; there is no public API that returns the results Google Hotels shows for a search.

This endpoint reads that page for the destination, dates and currency you choose and returns it as JSON, billed per successful search.

Use cases

What teams build with it.

Rate shopping: your property against the competitive set, for the same dates, every day.

Travel products: price and rating data for destinations and dates.

Market research: price levels by city and season.

Before you call it

Questions developers ask

Can I choose the currency?

Yes: currency sets it (USD, EUR…); prices come back in it.

Are the prices per night?

price is per night, total_price for the whole stay, as Google shows them for the dates you send.

How fast is a call?

Hotels needs the rendered page; our test on 30 October 2026 took about 12 seconds.

Can I get one hotel's booking links?

The link opens the property on Google Hotels, where the booking options are listed.

What does it cost?

$0.002 per search when the rendered page is needed, which is the case for hotels; the hotels collector bills per property instead.

Start with the free credit.

Create an API key, run the example above and read the JSON. Pay per search after the $2 monthly credit, no subscription.
