What this UK dentist list is
A UK dentist lead list is a spreadsheet of dental practices — one row per surgery, with the operating address and the contact details a supplier needs to reach the practice manager or the principal dentist. It is a list of businesses, not of patients: there is no consumer or health data in it of any kind.
The rows come from two places only. Google Maps supplies the practice, its category, its operating address, its phone and its website; the practice's own website supplies the email addresses, any extra phone numbers and the social profiles. Nothing is inferred, and no pattern-guessed address such as info@ is ever added: when a site publishes no email, the column stays blank and you can see that before you pay.
The measured run behind this page covered Manchester on 2026-09-08 and returned 153 unique practices, 136 of them inside the city itself and the rest in the surrounding boroughs the search area reached. That is one run over one city, not a count of every dental practice in the country — London, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Cardiff, Belfast or a whole region are run the same way on request, and the free sample is drawn from whichever area you name.
What is in every row
The columns below are what the delivery contains. Anything the source does not publish is left blank rather than filled in with a guess.
| Field | Type | What it contains |
|---|---|---|
| Business name | text | The practice name exactly as it is published on Google Maps, after deduplication on normalised name plus street. |
| Category | text | The Maps category — Dentist, Dental clinic, Cosmetic dentist, Orthodontist and so on — so a general practice can be separated from a specialist one. |
| Street | text | The street of the operating address, shortened to the street name. UK addresses carry a real street, so no district substitution is needed. |
| City / town | text | The town the surgery trades in. In the Manchester run, 136 of the 153 rows resolved inside the named city and the remainder in adjacent boroughs. |
| Postcode | text | The full postcode where the listing exposes one, which is what makes a territory split by postcode area possible. |
| Region / nation | text | England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, plus the region, for campaigns that have to respect the different NHS arrangements. |
| Phone | text | The public number on the listing, plus any additional number found on the website. 151 of the 153 Manchester rows had at least one. |
| Website | url | The practice's own site. 126 of the 153 Manchester rows had one; the rest are phone-and-address rows. |
| text | Found on the practice website during enrichment — contact, about and team pages. Blank when the site publishes no address. | |
| Social profiles | text | Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X links found on the same website. |
| Rating and review count | number | The Google rating and how many reviews it is based on, a rough proxy for the size of the patient list. |
| Last review date | date | When the practice was last reviewed — the cheapest available signal that the surgery is still open. |
| Active flag | text | active, doubtful or no review for 2+ years, derived from the review history. |
| Source | text | Per row: google_maps for the listing fields, plus the URL of the page each email was read from. |
How the list is built
How the list is built
Five steps, all of them repeatable — ask for the same area again in three months and you get the deltas rather than a new file.
1. Collect the places from Google Maps
The google_maps_places collector runs over the city, postcode area or region you name and returns every dental listing with its category, operating address, phone, website, rating and review history. The Manchester run on 2026-09-08 returned 153 places.
2. Deduplicate on name and street
Rows are merged on normalised business name plus street name (place id first when two Maps runs overlap), so a group with nine surgeries stays nine rows and one surgery listed twice becomes one.
3. Enrich from each practice website
The local_business_leads collector visits every website in the file and reads the emails, extra phone numbers, social profiles and whether the site is still up. This is the only step that produces email addresses, and it produces none for practices without a site.
4. Flag the ones that are still open
Rating, category, website and the date of the last review give each row an active flag, so surgeries with no review in over two years can be dropped before you spend anything on outreach.
5. Deliver as CSV or XLSX with a source per row
The file ships with a source column that says where each field came from, so anything you doubt can be checked against the original listing or page in one click.

Pricing
What it costs
Two ways to get the same data: run the collectors yourself and pay per delivered row, or name an area and receive the finished file. Every price is a starting price — the area you ask for sets the final one.
local_business_leads collector, $2 free credit per month, failed runs freePrices are in US dollars and exclude VAT where it applies. On the API you are billed per delivered row only: failed runs cost nothing, and rows that come back without a phone or a website are not charged. On the done-for-you side there is no minimum order — the free 50-row sample comes first, and you decide afterwards.
Who buys a dentist list
Everyone on this page sells something to dental practices. If you are looking for patients instead, this is the wrong file — it contains no consumer or health data.
Dental suppliers and distributors
Territory planning for a rep: every surgery in a postcode area, split by category, with a phone that answers and a street you can build a route around.
Practice management software
Booking, charting and recall systems sell on an email to the practice manager; the enrichment step is what puts that email in the row.
Equipment and imaging manufacturers
Rating, review count and last review date help separate busy multi-chair practices from single-handed surgeries before a capital-equipment pitch.
Dental labs and specialist referrals
Labs and specialists prospect by travel time, so street and postcode matter more than a national count. One city or one postcode area is the usual order.
Insurers, finance and professional services
Indemnity, patient-finance and accountancy providers sell practice by practice; the active flag keeps closed surgeries out of a campaign.
Agencies and recruiters
A clean B2B base for outreach that names the practice, its street and its social profiles, instead of a bought file of unknown provenance.
Against a bought static list
The complaints buyers make about bought lists are all about provenance, freshness and dead rows. This is what changes.
| Bought static list | This list | |
|---|---|---|
| Where a row came from | One line of terms and conditions for the whole file | A source column on every row, plus the page URL each email was read from |
| Address | Often a registered or mailing address | The operating address the surgery publishes on its Maps listing |
| Emails | Frequently pattern-guessed (info@, contact@) | Only addresses actually published on the practice website; blank when there are none |
| Still open? | Not stated | Active flag from the review history, so closed surgeries can be dropped before outreach |
| Freshness | Compiled once, resold for years | Built on the day you ask; monthly refresh feed with deltas if you want it |
| Before you pay | Row counts in the sales copy | 50 real rows from your own area, then you decide |
Compliance, plainly
This is business contact data only: the name, operating address, phone, website and published email of a dental practice. There is no patient data, no health data and no consumer data of any kind — nothing beyond what a practice publishes in order to be contacted by suppliers and by the people it treats.
In the UK, marketing is governed by the UK GDPR together with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). Under PECR, marketing email and texts to corporate subscribers — a limited company or an LLP — do not require prior consent, while sole traders and partnerships are treated as individual subscribers and do require it. Practices trading as individuals or partnerships are flagged as such in the file so you can apply the right rule, and live telephone marketing must in every case be screened against the TPS and CTPS first.
Once the file is delivered you are the independent controller of it: you decide what you send, keep your own suppression list, identify yourself in every message, offer a working opt-out and honour removal requests. Legitimate interests is the usual lawful basis for B2B prospecting under the UK GDPR, and it obliges you to run and record a balancing test. Ask us to remove a row and it is removed from the source data too. The ICO's own guidance below is the reference to read before the first send.

Questions buyers ask
The eight that come up on nearly every enquiry. Anything else, ask in the sample form above and you will get a straight answer before you spend anything.
Ask for your sample →How many practices will I actually get?
One measured run in Manchester on 2026-09-08 returned 153 unique practices. That is a count for one city on one day, not a national total: coverage depends on the city and on how tightly you draw the area. Name your area in the sample form and you will be told the count before you order.
How fresh is the data?
It is collected when you ask for it, not pulled from a warehouse. The Manchester figures on this page were measured on 2026-09-08. If you need the file to stay current, the monthly refresh feed re-runs the same area and ships only the changes — new surgeries, closures and changed phones or sites.
How many rows will have an email?
Only practices with a website can have one, and in the Manchester run 126 of 153 had a website. Emails are read from those sites during enrichment, so the column is filled where a site publishes an address and blank where it does not. No address is ever pattern-guessed.
Is buying this list legal?
It is business contact data, published by the practices themselves, delivered with a source on every row. Under PECR you may email corporate subscribers without prior consent; sole traders and partnerships need it, and are flagged in the file. Phone campaigns must be screened against the TPS and CTPS, and you become the controller on delivery.
How is it delivered and how long does it take?
CSV or XLSX, and JSON if you prefer to load it straight into a CRM. The free 50-row sample arrives within one business day. A full city is typically ready within one to two business days; a whole-country build across all four UK nations is quoted within 24 hours.
Can I get just one city, or one postcode area?
Yes, and that is the usual order. Manchester, Greater London, a single postcode area such as M20 or a whole nation such as Scotland are all valid areas. Pricing starts from $290 for a city; smaller areas cost less, and the sample is always free.
Should I use the API or ask you to build it?
Use the API if you want to re-run areas yourself: $0.001 per Maps place, $0.01 per enriched lead, $2 of free credit each month and failed runs free. Ask us to build it if you would rather receive a finished, deduplicated, flagged file and not manage runs at all.
What if the data is not good enough?
There are no refunds, because there is something better: the free 50-row sample from your own area, delivered before any money changes hands, so you judge the real data instead of a guarantee. On the API the same principle applies — failed runs are free, and rows returned without a phone or a website are not charged.
