# Web data pilot: a working dataset in 7 days

A web data pilot is a seven-day job with a defined output: one dataset, from named public sources, checked by you before it is paid. Pick one of five ready-made pilots below, send the input, get a free sample within two working days and a quote within 24 hours of your check.

## How a pilot works

### 1. Brief

You tell us the target, the area and the columns you need, in your own words. A spreadsheet of SKUs, a list of properties, a category and a province, a city and a portal: that is the whole brief.

### 2. Free sample

Within two working days you receive a real extract: 50 rows for a list, one full run for a monitor, one week for a competition set. The sample is built with the same collectors as the final job, not with a demo.

### 3. Your check

You verify a handful of rows against the live source: three phone numbers, twenty prices, one stay window. The pilot has a pass criterion written down before it starts, and the sample has to meet it.

### 4. Quote in 24h, then the run

After your check you get a written quote within 24 hours, in the unit that fits the pilot. The seven-day run starts when you say so and ends with the files, the method note and the run ids.

## The five pilots

Each pilot is a job we have already run for a customer or that maps one to one onto collectors in the live catalog. The table says what arrives in seven days, which collectors produce it and what we need from you; the pass criterion for each is in the detail below.

| Pilot | What you get in 7 days | Built with | What we need from you |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Competitor price monitoring for E-commerce retailers and brands | Your SKU list matched on the marketplaces you sell on and on the sellers Google lists for each product: seller, price, list price, currency, availability and first-seen date per offer, re-checked every day for 7 days, plus a delta file of every price change. | `amazon_search`, `amazon_product`, `ebay_search`, `google_shopping`, `product_offers`, `web_search` | 50 to 500 product identifiers (EAN, ASIN, model name or product URL), the retailers you care about, one or more countries. |
| Hotel competition set for Hotels, revenue managers, hotel groups | For each of your properties, up to six competitors and two stay windows: the lowest public rate on Google Hotels and on Booking, the direct rate against the OTA channel rate, taxes, free cancellation, breakfast, rooms left, and an explicit status when a property is not listed. One CSV per week, before Monday 9:00 in your time zone. | `hotels`, `booking_stays` | Property names with street addresses, the competitor list per property, the two stay windows, currency and country of the guests you price for. |
| B2B leads by province for Companies selling to local businesses (Italy first) | Every business of one category in one province, with the operating address confirmed across two sources (a business directory and Google Maps), phone, website, the email the company publishes on its own site, the date of the last Google review as an activity signal, and a per-column coverage sheet. | `local_business_leads`, `business_directory`, `site_contacts` | The category in your words (and what to exclude), the province or the list of municipalities, the columns you need. |
| Review monitoring for Multi-location brands, hospitality groups, agencies | For your locations and the competitors you name: every new Google review of the last 7 days with rating, text, date and owner reply, plus Trustpilot, Amazon and App Store reviews where your brand is listed there. A weekly delta file, never the same review twice. | `place_reviews`, `trustpilot_reviews`, `amazon_reviews`, `app_store_reviews` | Locations as name plus address (or Google place ids), and for the other sources the domain, ASINs or app ids. |
| Property listings monitoring for Agencies, investors, proptech | New, changed and removed listings in a city or set of areas, for sale or rent: price, size, price per square metre, agency, listing id, first-seen and last-seen dates, every day for 7 days, from the portals that matter in that market. | `idealista_search`, `subito_search`, `zillow_search`, `redfin_search`, `kleinanzeigen_search` | City or areas, operation (sale or rent), the portals you want covered, the filters you use when you search by hand. |

### Competitor price monitoring

**Who it is for.** E-commerce retailers and brands.

**What you get in 7 days.** Your SKU list matched on the marketplaces you sell on and on the sellers Google lists for each product: seller, price, list price, currency, availability and first-seen date per offer, re-checked every day for 7 days, plus a delta file of every price change.

**Built with.** `amazon_search`, `amazon_product`, `ebay_search`, `google_shopping`, `product_offers`, `web_search`. Every collector is billed per delivered row and is listed on the [collectors page](https://quanticdata.io/collectors/); see also [competitor price monitoring](https://quanticdata.io/competitor-price-monitoring/).

**What we need from you.** 50 to 500 product identifiers (EAN, ASIN, model name or product URL), the retailers you care about, one or more countries.

**Pilot passes when.** An agreed share of your SKUs matched on at least one seller, and 20 SKUs picked by you re-checked by hand against the live store page on the same day.

### Hotel competition set

**Who it is for.** Hotels, revenue managers, hotel groups.

**What you get in 7 days.** For each of your properties, up to six competitors and two stay windows: the lowest public rate on Google Hotels and on Booking, the direct rate against the OTA channel rate, taxes, free cancellation, breakfast, rooms left, and an explicit status when a property is not listed. One CSV per week, before Monday 9:00 in your time zone.

**Built with.** `hotels`, `booking_stays`. Every collector is billed per delivered row and is listed on the [collectors page](https://quanticdata.io/collectors/); see also [the travel collectors](https://quanticdata.io/collectors/).

**What we need from you.** Property names with street addresses, the competitor list per property, the two stay windows, currency and country of the guests you price for.

**Pilot passes when.** Every listed property found or flagged as not listed, and the rates of one window checked by you against the two sites on the day of the run.

### B2B leads by province

**Who it is for.** Companies selling to local businesses (Italy first).

**What you get in 7 days.** Every business of one category in one province, with the operating address confirmed across two sources (a business directory and Google Maps), phone, website, the email the company publishes on its own site, the date of the last Google review as an activity signal, and a per-column coverage sheet.

**Built with.** `local_business_leads`, `business_directory`, `site_contacts`. Every collector is billed per delivered row and is listed on the [collectors page](https://quanticdata.io/collectors/); see also [company and lead data](https://quanticdata.io/scrape-company-data/).

**What we need from you.** The category in your words (and what to exclude), the province or the list of municipalities, the columns you need.

**Pilot passes when.** A 50-row sample checked by you on three phone numbers and three addresses; the full file only after the sample passes.

### Review monitoring

**Who it is for.** Multi-location brands, hospitality groups, agencies.

**What you get in 7 days.** For your locations and the competitors you name: every new Google review of the last 7 days with rating, text, date and owner reply, plus Trustpilot, Amazon and App Store reviews where your brand is listed there. A weekly delta file, never the same review twice.

**Built with.** `place_reviews`, `trustpilot_reviews`, `amazon_reviews`, `app_store_reviews`. Every collector is billed per delivered row and is listed on the [collectors page](https://quanticdata.io/collectors/); see also [the review collectors](https://quanticdata.io/collectors/).

**What we need from you.** Locations as name plus address (or Google place ids), and for the other sources the domain, ASINs or app ids.

**Pilot passes when.** All reviews published in the window captured with the right star rating, checked by you on two locations against the public listing.

### Property listings monitoring

**Who it is for.** Agencies, investors, proptech.

**What you get in 7 days.** New, changed and removed listings in a city or set of areas, for sale or rent: price, size, price per square metre, agency, listing id, first-seen and last-seen dates, every day for 7 days, from the portals that matter in that market.

**Built with.** `idealista_search`, `subito_search`, `zillow_search`, `redfin_search`, `kleinanzeigen_search`. Every collector is billed per delivered row and is listed on the [collectors page](https://quanticdata.io/collectors/); see also [real estate data scraping](https://quanticdata.io/real-estate-data-scraping/).

**What we need from you.** City or areas, operation (sale or rent), the portals you want covered, the filters you use when you search by hand.

**Pilot passes when.** Your own listings appear with the right price on day one, and a price change you make during the week shows up in the next daily file.

## What every pilot delivers

- **The files.** CSV or XLSX, plus the same rows as JSON. Source URL and timestamp on every row, so any number can be traced back to the page it came from.

- **The method note.** One page that states what was included and what was excluded, and the coverage of each column measured on your data, not on the best rows. On a recent lead pilot of 311 dental practices across six Italian cities the note read: phone 100%, website 68%, email 42%, owner name 15%, VAT number 31%. That is the kind of number you get, before you pay.

- **The status column.** When something is not found the row says so. In our first hotel competition set one of the six properties was listed on neither Google Hotels nor Booking: the file carries the row with an explicit status rather than a blank cell.

- **The run ids.** Every collector run is stored under your account. The same job can be repeated from the dashboard, from the API with your key, or as a scheduled feed we operate for you.

## What a pilot is not

It is not a consumer database: the lead pilot returns businesses and professionals at their business address, never private individuals. It is not a way around a platform's terms: sources that require a login are out of scope, and when a platform forbids a use we say so in the sample instead of pretending. And it is not a subscription: nothing renews unless you ask for the scheduled feed.

## Pricing

The sample is free, with no card and no account. The quote arrives within 24 hours of your check, in writing, in the unit that fits the pilot: per row for lists, per property per week for competition sets, per location per week for reviews, per run for daily monitors. The unit prices of the collectors themselves are public on the [pricing page](https://quanticdata.io/pricing/); a pilot quote covers the work around them, which is why it is written for your input and not printed here.

## Request the free sample

Pick the pilot, tell us the target and what you can share as input. You get a reply within one business day and the sample within two. The form goes to the same inbox as [hello@quanticdata.io](mailto:hello@quanticdata.io?subject=Pilot%20request), so an email with the same information works just as well.

## FAQ

### How long does a web data pilot take?

Seven days from the moment we have your input. The free sample comes first, usually within two working days; the seven-day run starts when you confirm the sample is right. Weekly pilots, like the hotel competition set, deliver their first file before the following Monday.

### What does the pilot cost?

The sample is free. After you have checked it you receive a written quote within 24 hours, in the unit that fits the pilot: per row for lists, per property per week for competition sets, per location per week for reviews, per run for daily monitoring. There is no setup fee to see the sample.

### What do I need to send you?

The input listed in the table above for your pilot: a SKU list, property names and addresses, a category and a province, a list of locations, or a city and a portal. A spreadsheet or a plain email is enough. You do not need to write a specification.

### Which sources can a pilot include?

Any public web page, plus the ready-made collectors in the catalog: Google Shopping, Maps and Hotels, Booking, Amazon, eBay, Trustpilot, the App Store, Idealista, Zillow, Redfin, Subito, Kleinanzeigen and about ninety more. Sources that require a login or that hold personal data of consumers are out of scope.

### What exactly do I receive at the end?

A CSV or XLSX file plus the same data as JSON, with the source URL and the timestamp on every row, a short method note that states the coverage of each column on your data, and the run ids so the same job can be repeated on a schedule.

### What happens after the seven days?

Three options: stop, with the files yours to keep; a scheduled feed at the cadence you choose, delivered by email or pulled from the API with your own key; or you run the same collectors yourself from the dashboard. Nothing renews by itself.
