# IPv6 Proxies for Telegram

The messaging platform with channels, bots, groups and the TON mini-app ecosystem. telegram.org answers with 1 AAAA record, so QuanticData IPv6 proxies reach it: rotating or static sessions on /48 and /64 subnets, country in the username, from $0.20/GB down to $0.083/GB on 3 TB — for the public, high-volume side of Telegram, not for its accounts.

## Does Telegram accept IPv6? What we measured

In our 102-domain census of 14 September 2026, telegram.org published 2 AAAA records on the apex and 2 on www, and the host its homepage lands on, telegram.org, resolves over IPv6. Re-checked on 20 September 2026 from 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8: telegram.org answers with 1 AAAA record, the first one 2001:67c:4e8:f004::9. The hosts behind it: t.me (1 AAAA), api.telegram.org (1 AAAA).

![Terminal card with the real dig output for Telegram: telegram.org answers with 1 AAAA record starting 2001:67c:4e8:f004::9; t.me 1 record, api.telegram.org 1 record. DNS checked on 20 September 2026.](https://quanticdata.io/ipv6-proxies/for/telegram/dns.svg?v=20260920)**The DNS answer, verbatim.** dig +short AAAA against 1.1.1.1 on 20 September 2026; the raw rows of the September census are in the CSV linked from the IPv6 site-support article.

This is a DNS check, not a connection test: an AAAA record means an IPv6 exit can reach the host, and nothing more. What the platform serves to a given client is decided by its own rules, its rate limits per prefix and its anti-automation, which is why every page in this family says which jobs fit and which do not.

## Why IPv6 proxies for Telegram

Telegram is dual-stack on the hosts that matter for data: telegram.org, t.me and api.telegram.org each publish an AAAA record. The public surface worth collecting is the channel preview at t.me/s/<channel> — the server-rendered view of a public channel's recent posts, which needs no account, no client and no MTProto — and the Bot API on api.telegram.org, whose limits are per bot token, not per address. Monitoring public channels at volume for research, brand or news tracking is a rotating IPv6 job: light pages, many channels, sampled often.

The Telegram client itself is another matter. It speaks MTProto to Telegram's own data centres, its proxy setting takes a SOCKS5 or MTProto proxy without any address-family preference, and an account is tied to a phone number and a device. That is a mobile-proxy job with a sticky session, on the mobile page for Telegram, not something IPv6 improves.

## What to run on IPv6 for Telegram, and what not to

Four jobs people bring to Telegram, and the network each one belongs on. "Yes" means a rotating IPv6 exit is the right and cheapest tool; "Partly" means IPv6 carries part of the job; "No" means residential or mobile, and the reason is in the notes.

| Job | IPv6? | Notes |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Public channel previews (t.me/s/…) at volume | Yes | Server-rendered, no account, rotating exit per request. |
| Bot API calls from a fixed service | Partly | api.telegram.org resolves over IPv6; limits are per bot token, so IPv6 only cuts egress cost. |
| Public web pages of telegram.org | Yes | Documentation, apps and FAQ pages: light and public. |
| The Telegram client, accounts, MTProto | No | An account is a phone; use a sticky mobile session. Nothing here is about mass accounts. |

## When IPv6 is the wrong network for Telegram

The Telegram app and any account. The client's own proxy setting takes SOCKS5 or MTProto, an account is bound to a phone number, and the network that fits is mobile with a sticky session per account, within Telegram's rules. IPv6 is for the public channel previews and the Bot API.

The same account carries the other networks: [mobile proxies for Telegram](https://quanticdata.io/mobile-proxies/for/telegram/) (carrier IPs, sticky up to 24 hours, from $5 for 1 GB) and [residential proxies for Telegram](https://quanticdata.io/residential-proxies/for/telegram/) (home-ISP IPs in 200+ countries, from $1.00/GB, with a free 100 MB trial). A proxy gives the client a stable network location; it does not change Telegram's terms, its anti-spam rules, or the phone-number verification that ties an account to a country. Local laws on proxy use apply where Telegram is restricted.

## Which session to use for Telegram on IPv6: rotating or static

**Static for a login, rotating for public pages.** One sticky SOCKS5 session per account, in the country of the account's phone number, for the whole day. On the IPv6 network the username carries the country; leave the session out for a fresh address on every request, or set a static session in the endpoint generator when a flow must keep one. Host, port and password are in your dashboard after purchase.

```
# PROXY_HOST and PORT are shown in your dashboard
# no session in the username: a fresh IPv6 address on every request
curl --proxy "http://PROXY_HOST:PORT" \
  --proxy-user "USER-country-in:PASS" \
  --connect-timeout 10 --max-time 30 \
  -A "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) Chrome/128.0 Safari/537.36" \
  "https://t.me/s/telegram"
# check the exit: the address in the answer is an IPv6 one
curl --proxy "http://PROXY_HOST:PORT" --proxy-user "USER-country-in:PASS" https://api64.ipify.org
```

**Pacing by /64.** Channel previews are light and cached; a rotating exit per request and a modest pace are plenty. The Bot API's limits are documented per token and do not change with the address.

## Best countries for Telegram IPv6 proxies

The exits most often asked for with Telegram. Every IPv6 country page lists the username code and what that market is used for; 18 countries are available on the IPv6 network.

## IPv6 proxy pricing for Telegram

Per GB, each pack valid 30 days, unlimited concurrent sessions, country targeting included, no port fees. Pay from balance, card, PayPal or crypto. The free trial is on the residential pool (100 MB, 5 days, no card).

[$20 Photon · 100 GB $0.20 / GB](https://app.quanticdata.io/login?next=%2Fplans%3Fnetwork%3DIPV6) [$40 Quark · 250 GB $0.16 / GB](https://app.quanticdata.io/login?next=%2Fplans%3Fnetwork%3DIPV6) [$70 Neutrino · 500 GB $0.14 / GB](https://app.quanticdata.io/login?next=%2Fplans%3Fnetwork%3DIPV6) [$110 Boson · 1 TB $0.11 / GB](https://app.quanticdata.io/login?next=%2Fplans%3Fnetwork%3DIPV6) [$250 Core · 3 TB $0.083 / GB](https://app.quanticdata.io/login?next=%2Fplans%3Fnetwork%3DIPV6)

The same pool at every tier — a small Telegram test costs exactly $20. Full ladder and terms on the [pricing page](https://quanticdata.io/pricing/); the honest comparison with IPv4 is on the [IPv6 proxies page](https://quanticdata.io/ipv6-proxies/).

## Set it up for Telegram

QuanticData IPv6 proxies are standard HTTP and SOCKS5 endpoints: a host, a port, a username and a password, shown in your dashboard the moment a pack is active. Below, a request to a public Telegram page through the IPv6 gateway with a rotating exit, in curl and in Python.

```
import requests
# host and port from your dashboard; country in the username
proxy = "http://USER-country-in:PASS@PROXY_HOST:PORT"
r = requests.get("https://t.me/s/telegram",
                 proxies={"http": proxy, "https": proxy},
                 headers={"User-Agent": "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) Chrome/128.0 Safari/537.36"},
                 timeout=30)
print(r.status_code, len(r.content))
```

SOCKS5 works with the same username on the SOCKS5 port (`socks5h://` in Python's proxies, `--socks5-hostname` in curl), so the hostname is resolved at the exit — which is what you want, because the exit is the one with IPv6 connectivity. Test with `https://api64.ipify.org`: the answer should be an IPv6 address in the country you set.

[Something else? Ask us →](/ipv6-proxies/for/telegram/#ask)

### Does Telegram accept IPv6 proxies?

QuanticData checked: telegram.org publishes 1 AAAA record (DNS from 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 on 20 September 2026, and telegram.org was dual-stack in our 102-domain census of 14 September 2026), so an IPv6 exit reaches Telegram. That is a DNS fact, not a promise of access: Telegram still decides what it serves, and this page lists the jobs that fit — public channel previews (t.me/s/…) at volume and public web pages of telegram.org — and the ones that do not.

### Can I read public Telegram channels through an IPv6 proxy?

QuanticData found t.me and telegram.org dual-stack, each with an AAAA record, and the public channel preview at t.me/s/<channel> is a server-rendered page that needs no account. Monitoring public channels at volume is a rotating IPv6 job from $0.20/GB. The Telegram app and any account are not: the client speaks MTProto, its proxy setting takes SOCKS5 or MTProto, and an account is tied to a phone, which is the mobile network's job.

### Which IPv6 proxy session should I use for Telegram: rotating or static?

QuanticData recommends rotating for the public pages this page is about, and no IPv6 session at all for a login on Telegram. One sticky SOCKS5 session per account, in the country of the account's phone number, for the whole day. On the IPv6 network a request with no session in the username gets a fresh address from the pool; a static session is set in the endpoint generator in your dashboard. Pace by /64, not by address: Channel previews are light and cached; a rotating exit per request and a modest pace are plenty. The Bot API's limits are documented per token and do not change with the address.

### IPv6 or residential proxies for Telegram?

QuanticData's answer for Telegram is IPv6 for public channel previews (t.me/s/…) at volume and public web pages of telegram.org — rotating exits at $0.20/GB down to $0.083/GB — and residential or mobile for the telegram client, accounts, mtproto. The two live on the same account, so a pipeline can send each request to the network that fits it. The Telegram app and any account.

### How much do IPv6 proxies for Telegram cost?

QuanticData charges the same for every platform: $20 for 100 GB ($0.20/GB), $40 for 250 GB, $70 for 500 GB, $110 for 1 TB and $250 for 3 TB ($0.083/GB), each valid 30 days, with unlimited concurrent sessions and no per-port fees. Country targeting — India, Brazil and Germany are the exits most asked for with Telegram — costs nothing extra. Pay from balance, card, PayPal or crypto.

### Is there a free IPv6 proxy for Telegram?

QuanticData does not give away IPv6 bandwidth: the smallest pack is $20 for 100 GB. What is free is the residential trial — 100 MB on Residential Basic for 5 days, no card — enough to check that your Telegram workflow behaves through a proxy before paying for IPv6 volume. Public "free IPv6 proxy" lists are shared addresses that the platforms already know and that disappear within days; nothing built on them keeps working.
