# List of wineries in Italy with phone numbers and addresses

**A list of wineries in Italy with phone, website, the emails published on that website and the address of the winery, where the wine is actually made, for whoever sells to wine producers: glass and closures, oenology, labels, distribution, export and software.** In Alba, in the province of Cuneo, one run returned at least 30 wineries. ## What this list of Italian wineries is

**It is the list of the wineries in an Italian area (wine estates, farms that bottle their own wine and wine houses), with business name, winery address, phone, website and the emails published on that website.** It is not an archive to download: it is extracted when you order it, so the collection date is the delivery date.

Searches for a list of wineries in Italy mostly return wine-tourism guides, maps and «best wineries to visit» pages. This file is for something else: for whoever sells to producers (glass, corks and capsules, oenological products, labels, logistics and export, winery software) and needs the winery address, the phone and the website. In Alba almost every winery has a website (29 of 30), so an email can almost always be read.

The numbers on this page are for **Alba**, in the province of Cuneo, Piedmont: the «cantina vitivinicola» search of 4 October 2026 returned 38 listings. 8 listings belonged to other categories (wine shops and an enoteca, a winemaking supplier, a distillery, a farm, an agricultural service and a generic producer) and we took them out. That leaves 30 listings with the category «Winery». Wine shops are outside the count; on request we add them.

## The fields you get on every row

These are the columns of the CSV or XLSX. Email and email type are read on each business’s own website, so they are filled only for the businesses with a reachable website.

| Field | Type | What it contains |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Business | text | The name the business shows on its public listing. |
| Category | text | The category the listing shows today. Listings of other categories are left out. |
| Address, postcode, comune and province | text | The **operating address**, where the business works and answers, in separate columns so you can split the list by area. |
| Phone and Phone 2 | text | The published numbers, in international format. Before a calling campaign the numbers must be screened against Italy's do-not-call register (Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni). |
| Email and email type | text | The email the business publishes on its own website, with its type: generic, personal or certified (PEC). Empty when we did not find one. |
| Website | URL | The business domain when we find it on the listing; empty when we do not. |
| Operating address check | yes / no | Yes when the map listing and the national directory listing show the same address. |
| Status on the map | text | Hours shown, temporarily closed or permanently closed, as the listing shows it on the day we read it. |
| Rating and number of reviews | number | The average rating and the review count of the listing: an order of magnitude of the client volume. |
| Directory and map listing | URL | The two public pages the row comes from: the source of every value, open to check. |
| Checked on | date | The day we read the sources for that row. |
| Row ID | text | A stable code, so the same business does not reach you twice across orders. |

## How we build the list

Four choices that decide how many right rows end up in the file.

### The sector from the listing, not from the ATECO code

A company picks its ATECO activity code when it registers and often never updates it when the business changes. We take the category the business shows today on its public listing, on Google Maps and on the Italian national directories.

### The operating address, not only the registered office

The address is where the business works and answers the phone, not the registered office in the company register, which is sometimes only an administrative address.

### Source and date on every row

Every row carries the links to the two public listings it comes from and the day we read it.

### Every month, only the changes

With the monthly refresh you receive new openings, closures and changed contact details, not the whole list again.

Before a calling campaign, Italian numbers must be screened against the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register. A business that finds itself in a list can ask to be removed: [remove your business from our lists](https://quanticdata.io/leads/removal/).

## Who buys a list of wineries in Italy

Not someone booking a tasting: companies that sell to wine producers and need the winery address, not the registered office.

### Glass, corks and capsules

Bottles, closures and capsules are sold before harvest and bottling: the list is built wine area by wine area.

### Oenology and cellar equipment

Oenological products, barrels, tanks and bottling lines: what counts is the winery phone, not the registered office.

### Labels and packaging

Printers, converters and design studios offer labels and gift boxes to the wineries refreshing their look.

### Distribution and export

Distributors, importers and agents look for wineries to add to their portfolio: the website shows which ones already sell abroad.

### Winery software and online sales

Cellar management, e-commerce and visit booking: with 29 of 30 wineries on a website, the demo can be offered by email.

### Wine tourism

Agencies and operators running tours and tastings look for wineries close to each other: municipality and category make the first filter.

## Compliance: what is in the file and what is up to you

The list contains **business contacts only**: business name, operating address, published number, website and the emails the business publishes on its own website. No consumer data, no private contacts, no data about the wineries’ customers, no personal profiles bought from third parties.

For business-to-business contact the legal basis is legitimate interest, which the GDPR names explicitly for direct marketing in [recital 47](https://gdpr-info.eu/recitals/no-47/). Many wineries are farms registered to the owner: for them the contact detail counts as personal data and the processing has to be assessed case by case.

**Email, SMS and automated messages need consent in Italy.** Sending commercial communications through automated systems requires the recipient's prior consent, even when the recipient is a company or a professional (art. 130 of the Italian Privacy Code): the email column is for whoever already has that consent, or for the cases where the law does not require it, such as existing customers for similar products. Calls with a live operator are allowed only to numbers not listed in the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register.

When you receive the file you become an **independent controller** of the data: privacy notice, record of processing and replies to data subjects' requests are up to you.

If your business is in one of our lists and you want it out, the business name and the contact detail to remove are enough: [remove your business from our lists](https://quanticdata.io/leads/removal/).

## Frequently asked questions

What buyers ask us before ordering. If something is missing, ask for the sample and write the question in the form: a person replies.

[Ask for your sample →](/datasets/italy/wineries/#sample)

### How many wineries are there in Italy?

It depends on the area. The only number we measured is Alba, in the province of Cuneo: at least 30 wineries in a single run on 4 October 2026, after removing other categories. We do not publish a national total because we have not counted one. Before you order we tell you how many rows come out of your area.

### Does the list include wine shops and enoteche?

Not unless you ask. In Alba the search also brought in two wine shops, an enoteca, a distillery and a winemaking supplier: we left them out of the 30 wineries. On request we add them, kept apart in the category column, so you can keep only the producers or the sellers too.

### How up to date is the data?

It is current to the day of extraction: the list is generated when you order it, not pulled from an archive. In wine, owners, trading names and websites change often, especially after a generational handover or a sale. The status on the map (hours shown, temporarily or permanently closed) shows, row by row, who is still trading. On request it comes back every month with the changes only.

### How many Italian wineries in the list have an email?

The emails do not come from an archive: we read them on the winery’s website, so coverage depends on how many have one. In the Alba sample 29 wineries out of 30 (97%) had a website to visit and 28 of 30 a published phone. In the free sample you see the real percentage for your area before you pay.

### Is it legal to contact these wineries?

They are business contacts published by the producers themselves. For B2B the GDPR allows legitimate interest under recital 47. Whoever receives the file becomes an independent controller. Commercial emails and SMS sent with automated systems need the recipient’s prior consent (art. 130 of the Italian Privacy Code), except for existing customers offered similar products. Calls with a live operator are allowed to numbers not listed in the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy’s do-not-call register.

### Can I download the list as CSV or Excel, and how fast?

CSV and XLSX, with the source on every row; JSON on request. The 20-row sample arrives within one business day, a full province usually in one or two, because every website is visited to read the published emails. With one column per field the file loads into HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or Zoho CRM, or opens in Excel.

### Can I get a list of wineries for one wine area or province?

Yes: one province starts at €290. In wine it often pays to think in production areas: you can name a list of municipalities, an appellation or a radius in kilometres around a village. There is no national package you have to buy whole before you can get your area.

### API or finished file: which is better?

The API makes sense if you have someone to integrate it and you want to rebuild the list yourself: you pay from $0.01 per lead and get $2 of free credit every month. The finished file makes sense if you need a province already deduplicated, enriched and checked, without writing a line of code.

### What guarantee is there on quality?

Before buying you get 20 real rows from your area for free. After buying, every field we deliver is guaranteed: if a field is wrong, for example an email that does not exist, that row is refunded. For phones the refund applies when the number does not exist or is not valid, not when nobody answers. The period to report a row is stated in the order.

## Want to see 20 wineries from your area?
