## What this list of pizzerias in Italy is

**It is the list of pizzerias in an Italian area — sit-down, takeaway, fried pizza — with the name of the venue, address, phone, website and the emails published on that website.** It is extracted when you order it: the collection date is the delivery date.

With pizzerias the phone counts more than the email. In Naples 207 pizzerias out of 214 had a published number, while a website was there in 145 cases. And the «website» is not always the pizzeria's own: in the 10 rows below one points to a domain that does not carry the venue's name. Emails read on a site like that are not the pizzeria's, and in the free sample you spot them before you pay.

Many pizzerias are independent venues, where whoever answers the phone is often also the person who decides what to buy: that is why the address of the venue and the direct number are worth more than a registered office. The count of 214 refers to **Naples** and comes from a run stopped before the city was exhausted: there are at least that many pizzerias. The search returned 238 listings; 24 belonged to other categories (restaurants, Italian and Neapolitan restaurants) and we removed them: the category column in the file is there for exactly this, and restaurants have their own list.

## The fields you get on every row

These are the columns of the CSV or XLSX. The enrichment fields (email, social profiles, website status) are filled only for the venues with a reachable website.

| Field | Type | What it contains |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Venue name | text | The sign the pizzeria uses with the public, cleaned of duplicates. It is the name passers-by know, often different from the registered business name. |
| Category | text | The category declared on the listing. In the count we keep only «Pizzeria»: the restaurants the map attaches to the same search stay out, or in if you ask for them. |
| Address | text | Street and number of the **venue**, where goods are delivered and the sales visit happens. |
| City, province and postcode | text | Three separate columns, so you can split the list by neighbourhood or delivery zone without reworking it. |
| Phone | text | The number published on the listing, in international format. For a pizzeria it is often the order line too: better to call outside service hours. Before a calling campaign the numbers must be screened against Italy's do-not-call register (Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni). |
| Website | URL | The domain shown on the listing. Check it: sometimes it does not carry the venue's name, as in one of the 10 Naples rows, or it is a page on a portal or a free host. |
| Email found on the website | text | The emails published on the website, read during enrichment. If the site is not the pizzeria's, neither is the email: the row says so with the page it comes from. |
| Opening hours | text | The hours on the listing, when there are any. Many pizzerias open in the evening only: the hours tell you when to call without disturbing service. |
| Social profiles | URL | Facebook and Instagram linked from the website: for many pizzerias they are the channel updated most often, with menus and closures. |
| Rating and number of reviews | number | The average star rating and how many reviews it has collected: an order of magnitude of the client volume, useful to gauge how much flour or how many boxes a venue goes through. |
| Date of last review | date | When someone last wrote a review: the most honest signal that the oven is still lit. |
| Active | yes / doubtful / no | Flag computed from the date of the last review and the website status. «Doubtful» means to be checked, not to be thrown away. |
| Operating address confirmed | yes / no | It is **yes** when the map and the national directory show the same address. It is the field that keeps your van from going to the accountant's address. |
| Source per row | text | Google Maps, national directory or both: every row says where it comes from. On request we add the VAT number where the register shows it, checked on VIES. |

## How we build the list

Five choices that decide how many right rows end up in the file.

### The sector from the listing, not from the ATECO code

A company picks its ATECO activity code when it registers and often never updates it when the business changes. We take the category the business shows today on its public listing, on Google Maps and on the Italian national directories.

### The operating address, not only the registered office

The address is where the business works and answers the phone, not the registered office in the company register, which is sometimes only an administrative address.

### Source and date for every field

Next to phone, website and email you see where the value came from and the day we read it.

### Measured coverage

Every list says how many rows really have a phone, a website or an email, counted and not estimated. On this page, in Naples: phone 97% (207 of 214), website 68% (145 of 214). Email coverage is measured in the sample from your area.

### Every month, only the changes

With the monthly refresh you receive new openings, closures and changed contact details, not the whole list again.

Before a calling campaign, Italian numbers must be screened against the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register. A business that finds itself in a list can ask to be removed: [remove your business from our lists](https://quanticdata.io/leads/removal/).

How the list is built

## From the map to the file, step by step

Five steps, always the same. They are the same public collectors you find in the API: if you prefer, you can run them yourself.

### 1. Extraction from the map

The `google_maps_places` collector sweeps the area you name and collects the pizzeria listings: name, category, address, phone, website, opening hours, rating and reviews. It is the source that covers practically every sign you can see from the street.

### 2. National directories for venues with no online shop window

The `business_directory` collector goes over the same area on Pagine Gialle and Pagine Bianche. It is there for the neighbourhood venues whose only well-kept listing is in those directories: the two sources add up, they do not replace each other.

### 3. Deduplication on name and street

We normalise sign and address (Pizzeria, Antica, «da», abbreviations) and merge the listings that describe the same venue. One row is left, but the «source» column keeps track of where it appeared.

### 4. Enrichment from the website

The `local_business_leads` collector visits the website of each pizzeria and extracts the published emails, other phone numbers, social profiles and the website status. The emails come from the website, not from a purchased archive, and we know from which page.

### 5. «Active» flag and delivery

From the date of the last review and the website status we derive the active / doubtful / no flag, then export to CSV or XLSX with the source on every row. On request we check the VAT numbers on VIES before delivery.

Pricing

## What it costs

Two ways. The self-service API if you want to rebuild the list yourself whenever you need it, the finished file if you only want to open the CSV and start. Prices are always «from»: they depend on how many businesses come out of the area you name.

**Free sample**20 rows*from the area you name, within one business day*

**Self-service API**from $0.01 per lead*`local_business_leads` collector, $2 of free credit every month, failed extractions not charged*

**One province**from €290*every business in the sector, enriched, CSV/XLSX, source per row*

**All of Italy**quote within 24 h*by region or nationwide; monthly refresh with the changes only from €390/month*

The API price is per row delivered: failed extractions are not charged and rows with neither phone nor website are not counted. Prices of the finished files exclude VAT.

## Who buys a pizzeria contact list for Italy

Not hungry customers: the companies that sell to pizzerias and need the address of the oven and a number that answers.

### Mills and flour distributors

Flour is a pizzeria's most recurrent purchase: distributors work by area and often start from the venues with the most reviews, which usually do the most work.

### Oven makers and dealers

Wood-fired, gas or electric ovens: a rare and important purchase, to be offered with the owner's direct number and the venue's address for the site visit.

### Takeaway packaging

Boxes, bags and containers: a continuous purchase, sold best neighbourhood by neighbourhood with the venue's phone.

### Dairy, tomato and cured meats

Fior di latte and mozzarella do not keep long: distributors run delivery rounds in a tight radius and need the venue, not the registered office.

### Online ordering and home delivery

In Naples 69 pizzerias out of 214 had no website: they are the first to offer an online ordering system or a delivery platform.

### Schools and courses for pizza makers

Refresher courses, certifications and staff recruitment: the list by province, filtered on active venues, tells you whom to offer them to.

## A bought list versus a list built on request

The six differences buyers tell us about after trying an archive file.

| | Bought list | This list |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Freshness | A static file: usually it does not say when it was collected. | Extracted the day you order it; on request it comes back every month with the changes only. |
| Sector | Often «restaurants and pizzerias» together, to be separated by hand. | Only the listings with the pizzeria category; restaurants are added if you ask for them. |
| Address | Often the **registered office**: the goods end up at the accountant's. | The address of the **venue**, with the «confirmed» flag when the two sources agree. |
| Origin of the emails | Origin not declared, often inherited from other lists. | Emails read on the venue's website, with the page they come from. |
| Closed venues | No signal: you find out by calling. | Active / doubtful / no flag and date of the last review on every row. |
| Pricing model | A package to buy whole, often national. | 20 free rows, then from $0.01 per lead through the API or from €290 per province. |

## Compliance: what is in the file and what is up to you

The list contains **business contacts only**: name of the venue, address, published number, website and the emails the pizzeria publishes on its own website. No customer or consumer data, no private contacts, no personal profiles bought from third parties.

For business-to-business contact the legal basis is legitimate interest, which the GDPR names explicitly for direct marketing in [recital 47](https://gdpr-info.eu/recitals/no-47/). Many pizzerias are sole traders: they are flagged in a separate column, because for them the contact detail counts as personal data and the processing has to be assessed case by case.

**Email, SMS and automated messages need consent in Italy.** Sending commercial communications through automated systems requires the recipient's prior consent, even when the recipient is a company or a professional (art. 130 of the Italian Privacy Code): the email column is for whoever already has that consent or for one-to-one contacts. Calls with a live operator are allowed only to numbers not listed in the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register.

When you receive the file you become an **independent controller** of the data: privacy notice, record of processing and replies to data subjects' requests are up to you. Before any calling campaign the numbers must be screened against the do-not-call register; on request we check the VAT numbers on VIES before delivery.

If your business is in one of our lists and you want it out, the business name and the contact detail to remove are enough: [remove your business from our lists](https://quanticdata.io/leads/removal/).

## Frequently asked questions

What buyers ask us before ordering. If something is missing, ask for the sample and write the question in the form: a person replies.

[Ask for your sample →](/datasets/italy/pizzerias/#sample)

### How many pizzerias does Italy have?

We have not counted a national total, so we do not publish one. The only number we measured is Naples: at least 214 pizzerias in a single run on 1 October 2026, which stopped before the city was exhausted. Before you order we tell you how many rows come out of the province or city you need, and the free sample comes from that same area.

### How up to date is the data?

It is current to the day of extraction, because the list is generated when you order it instead of being pulled from an archive. The date of the last review tells you, row by row, whether the venue is still working. On request we rebuild the file every month and deliver only the changes, from €390/month.

### How many pizzerias have an email?

We read the emails on the venue's website, so coverage depends on how many pizzerias have one. In Naples 145 pizzerias out of 214 (68%) had a website, and not all of those websites belong to the venue. For this sector the phone, present in 207 rows out of 214, is the most reliable contact.

### Is it legal to contact pizzerias with a sales offer?

They are business contacts published by the venues themselves. For B2B the GDPR allows legitimate interest under recital 47, and sole traders are flagged separately. When you receive the file you become an independent controller and, before calling, you must screen the numbers against Italy's do-not-call register. Automated email needs prior consent in Italy.

### Is there a free pizzerias in Italy email list?

Yes, to start with: 20 complete rows from the area you name are free, with no account and no card. They come from the same extraction as the paid list, so you see the real phone and email coverage of your area. The full province is paid, from €290.

### Can I download the list as CSV or Excel, and how fast?

CSV and XLSX, with the source on every row; JSON on request. The 20-row sample arrives within one business day. A full province usually takes one or two business days, because every website has to be visited one by one to read the emails and social profiles.

### Can I get a list of pizzerias in Naples, Rome or another city only?

We build it for the city, the province or the neighbourhood you name, or for a radius in kilometres around your warehouse. One province starts at €290; a region or all of Italy is quoted within 24 hours. There is no national package you have to buy whole.

### Are pizzerias included in the restaurants list or sold separately?

Separately. In the pizzeria list we keep only the listings whose category is pizzeria: in Naples the search returned 238 listings and we removed the 24 restaurants among them. Restaurants have their own list; if you sell to both, ask for both categories and they arrive in the same file, with the category column to tell them apart.

### API or finished file: which is better?

The API makes sense if you have someone to integrate it and you want to rebuild the list yourself: you pay from $0.01 per lead and get $2 of free credit every month. The finished file makes sense if you need a province already deduplicated, enriched and checked, without writing a line of code.

### What guarantee is there on quality?

Before buying you get 20 real rows from your area for free. After buying, every field we deliver is guaranteed: if a field is wrong, for example an email that does not exist, that row is refunded. For phones the refund applies when the number does not exist or is not valid, not when nobody answers, because a phone that is switched off cannot be verified. The guarantee covers the fields of the list you bought (with «phone only», the phone) and the period to report a row is stated in the order.

### Can I import the list into my CRM?

Yes. The file arrives as CSV and XLSX with one column per field, so it loads through the contact import of HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo or monday CRM, or opens in Excel and Google Sheets. Each pizzeria becomes a contact with phone, opening hours and address in separate columns, ready to plan calls and visit rounds. With the API the rows reach your systems without a file.

## Want to see 20 pizzerias from your area?

Tell us the city or the province: we send you 20 complete rows within one business day, with no account and no card.
