# List of manufacturing companies in Italy with emails: 57 metalworking firms found in Brescia in one run — an Italian manufacturers list by sector and province

**A list of manufacturing companies in Italy, built by sector and province, with phone, website, email and the address of the plant.** In Brescia the «azienda metalmeccanica» (metalworking company) search returned 57 metalworking firms, 93% of them with a website (53 of 57). Get 20 free rows from your sector, then from $0.01 per lead through the API, or from €290 per province.

## What this Italian manufacturers database is

**It is the list of the manufacturing companies of one sector and one province (metalworking, plastics, food, textiles, wood and furniture), with business name, plant address, phone, website and the emails published on that website.** It is not an archive to download: it is extracted when you order it, so the collection date is the delivery date.

Manufacturing cannot be searched in bulk. We measured it: in Brescia the «azienda manifatturiera» (manufacturing company) search returned only 14 listings, and among them were consultancies and IT companies, because the map does not use that category. The same city with «azienda metalmeccanica» returned 62 listings: 5 belonged to other categories (construction and structural steelwork, steel distribution, industrial plant, offices) and we took them out, because that is exactly what the category column in the file is for. That leaves 57 companies classified as metalworking, turning, machine tool manufacturing and tool manufacturing. This is why the list is built **by sector and by province**: you tell us which processes you care about, we pick the right searches.

The figure 57 comes from a single map extraction of 1 October 2026, which exhausted the results for that search: it covers Brescia and some municipalities of the surrounding belt such as Roncadelle, Nave and Rezzato. It is the count for that search, not the number of engineering workshops in Brescia: for a whole province we combine several sector searches and the national directories, and we tell you how many rows come out before you order.

## The fields you get on every row

These are the columns of the CSV or XLSX. The enrichment fields (email, social profiles, website status) are filled only for the businesses with a reachable website.

| Field | Type | What it contains |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Business name | text | The name the business uses with the public, cleaned of duplicates and department labels. |
| Sector and category | text | The category declared on the listing, for example «Metalworking», «Turning shop», «Mechanical engineering company» or «Machine tool manufacturer». It separates the processes before you call. |
| Address | text | Street and number of the **operating address**, meaning the plant or the workshop, often in an industrial zone outside the provincial capital. |
| City, province and postcode | text | Three separate columns in the file, so you can split the list by sales territory without reworking it. |
| Phone | text | The number published on the listing, normalised to international format; mobiles stay separate from landlines. Before a calling campaign the numbers must be screened against Italy's do-not-call register (Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni). |
| Website | URL | The company domain. In manufacturing it is the page where you read processes, machinery and certifications: the basis for qualifying the contact. |
| Email found on the website | text | The emails published on the business website, read from the site itself during enrichment. More than one when there are several. |
| Social profiles | URL | LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram linked from the website. In industrial B2B the company LinkedIn page is often the liveliest channel. |
| Rating | number | The average star rating on the listing, where there is one. |
| Number of reviews | number | How many reviews it has collected: an order of magnitude of the client volume. |
| Date of last review | date | When someone last wrote a review: the most honest signal that the business is still trading. |
| Active | yes / doubtful / no | Flag computed from the date of the last review and the website status. «Doubtful» means to be checked, not to be thrown away. |
| Operating address confirmed | yes / no | It is **yes** when the map and the national directory show the same address. It is the field that keeps your letter from landing at the accountant's office. |
| Source per row | text | Google Maps, national directory or both: every row says where it comes from. On request we add the VAT number where the register shows it, checked on VIES. |

## How we build the list

Five choices that decide how many right rows end up in the file.

### The sector from the listing, not from the ATECO code

A company picks its ATECO activity code when it registers and often never updates it when the business changes. We take the category the business shows today on its public listing, on Google Maps and on the Italian national directories.

### The operating address, not only the registered office

The address is where the business works and answers the phone, not the registered office in the company register, which is sometimes only an administrative address.

### Source and date for every field

Next to phone, website and email you see where the value came from and the day we read it.

### Measured coverage

Every list says how many rows really have a phone, a website or an email, counted and not estimated. On this page, in Brescia: phone 98% (56 of 57), website 93% (53 of 57). Email coverage is measured in the sample from your area.

### Every month, only the changes

With the monthly refresh you receive new openings, closures and changed contact details, not the whole list again.

Before a calling campaign, Italian numbers must be screened against the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register. A business that finds itself in a list can ask to be removed: [remove your business from our lists](https://quanticdata.io/leads/removal/).

How the list is built

## From the map to the file, step by step

Five steps, always the same. They are the same public collectors you find in the API: if you prefer, you can run them yourself.

### 1. Extraction from the map

The `google_maps_places` collector sweeps the province with one search per sector (for example «azienda metalmeccanica», «torneria», «stampaggio materie plastiche»: metalworking, turning, plastic moulding) and collects name, category, address, phone, website, rating and reviews. A generic search such as «azienda manifatturiera» returns little: the work is done sector by sector.

### 2. National directories for the independents

The `business_directory` collector goes over the same area on the Italian national directories (Pagine Gialle and Pagine Bianche). There is a precise reason: the larger companies are everywhere, small subcontracting workshops often appear only there. The two sources complete each other, they do not replace each other.

### 3. Deduplication on name and street

We normalise business name and address (abbreviations, punctuation, company forms) and merge the listings that describe the same business. One row is left, but the «source» column keeps track of where it appeared.

### 4. Enrichment from the website

The `local_business_leads` collector visits the website of each business and extracts the published emails, other phone numbers, social profiles and the website status. The emails do not come from a purchased archive: they come from the business's own website, and we know from which page.

### 5. «Active» flag and delivery

From the date of the last review and the website status we derive the active / doubtful / no flag, then export to CSV or XLSX with the source on every row. On request we check the VAT numbers on VIES before we send you the file.

10 rows out of 57 extracted in Brescia with the «azienda metalmeccanica» search, taken only from the metalworking categories; phones and emails are masked on this page. The run exhausted the map results for that search. Measured on 2026-10-01 in a single map extraction; the counts refer to the search and the city named, not to the whole of Italy.

Pricing

## What it costs

Two ways. The self-service API if you want to rebuild the list yourself whenever you need it, the finished file if you only want to open the CSV and start. Prices are always «from»: they depend on how many businesses come out of the area you name.

**Free sample**20 rows*from the area you name, within one business day*

**Self-service API**from $0.01 per lead*`local_business_leads` collector, $2 of free credit every month, failed extractions not charged*

**One province**from €290*every company in the sectors you choose, enriched, CSV/XLSX, source per row*

**All of Italy**quote within 24 h*by region or nationwide; monthly refresh with the changes only from €390/month*

The API price is per row delivered: failed extractions are not charged and rows with neither phone nor website are not counted. Prices of the finished files exclude VAT.

## Who buys a list of Italian manufacturers

Companies that sell to factories and need the right plant, not the administrative office.

### Cutting tools and consumables

Inserts, milling cutters, coolants, abrasives: a recurring purchase sold industrial zone by industrial zone, with the direct phone of the workshop.

### Steel and semi-finished product distributors

Bars, sheets, tubes: the list by sector tells you which workshops work metal and where to deliver.

### Machine tools, service and retrofit

Whoever sells machining centres or maintains them starts from the turning and metalworking categories of a province.

### ERP, MES and CAD/CAM software

Production management and machine programming software: the company website shows size and processes before the demo.

### Workplace safety and training

Consultants and training providers for mandatory courses, forklift and crane operators: they need active plants, province by province.

### Energy, solar and efficiency

Systems on factory roofs and energy contracts: what counts is the plant address and the sector, which tells you how much energy it uses.

## A bought list versus a list built on request

The six differences buyers tell us about after trying an archive file.

| | Bought list | This list |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Freshness | A static file: usually it does not say when it was collected. | Extracted the day you order it; on request it comes back every month with the changes only. |
| Source per row | One big pool, with no way to know where each contact comes from. | Every row states the source: map, national directory or both. |
| Address | Often the **registered office** or the administrative office: the plant is left out. | The **operating address**, meaning the plant, with the «confirmed» flag when the two sources agree. |
| Origin of the emails | Origin not declared, often inherited from other lists. | Emails read on the company website, with the page they come from. |
| Closed businesses | No signal: you find out by calling. | Active / doubtful / no flag and date of the last review on every row. |
| Pricing model | A package to buy whole, often national. | 20 free rows, then from $0.01 per lead through the API or from €290 per province. |

## Compliance: what is in the file and what is up to you

The list contains **business contacts only**: business name, plant address, published number, website and the emails the company publishes on its own website. No consumer data, no private contacts, no personal profiles bought from third parties.

For business-to-business contact the legal basis is legitimate interest, which the GDPR names explicitly for direct marketing in [recital 47](https://gdpr-info.eu/recitals/no-47/). In manufacturing most businesses are companies, but small workshops are often sole traders: we flag them in a separate column, because for them the contact detail counts as personal data and the processing has to be assessed case by case.

**Email, SMS and automated messages need consent in Italy.** Sending commercial communications through automated systems requires the recipient's prior consent, even when the recipient is a company or a professional (art. 130 of the Italian Privacy Code): the email column is for whoever already has that consent or for one-to-one contacts. Calls with a live operator are allowed only to numbers not listed in the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register.

When you receive the file you become an **independent controller** of the data: privacy notice, record of processing and replies to data subjects' requests are up to you. Before any calling campaign the numbers must be screened against the do-not-call register; on request we check the VAT numbers on VIES before delivery.

If your business is in one of our lists and you want it out, the business name and the contact detail to remove are enough: [remove your business from our lists](https://quanticdata.io/leads/removal/).

## Frequently asked questions

What buyers ask us before ordering. If something is missing, ask for the sample and write the question in the form: a person replies.

[Ask for your sample →](/datasets/italy/manufacturers/#sample)

### How many manufacturing companies are there in Italy?

We have not counted a national total, so we do not publish one; the number depends on the sector and the area. The only figure we measured is Brescia: 57 metalworking companies in a single run on 1 October 2026, with the «azienda metalmeccanica» search. The generic «azienda manifatturiera» search had returned 14, because the map does not use that category. Before you order we tell you how many rows come out of the sectors and the province you need.

### Where can I find a list of Italian manufacturers by product, such as valve or furniture makers?

Here, built on request: the list is made with one map search per sector, so the product or process you sell to becomes the search, and the category column keeps the results apart. The only sector we have measured is metalworking in Brescia, 57 companies. For any other sector we run the searches first and tell you how many rows come out before you order, with 20 free rows to check.

### How up to date is the data?

It is current to the day of extraction, because the list is generated when you order it instead of being pulled from an archive. In manufacturing this matters most for closures and changes of company name after acquisitions and mergers: the date of the last review and the website status tell you, row by row, who is still operating. On request we rebuild the file every month and deliver only the changes.

### Is there a database of Italian manufacturers with email addresses?

The emails do not come from an archive: we read them on the company website, so coverage depends on how many companies have a website. In the Brescia metalworking sample, 53 companies out of 57 (93%) had a website to visit. Not every website publishes an email: in the free sample you see the real percentage for your sector before you pay.

### Is it legal to contact these companies?

They are business contacts published by the companies themselves. For B2B the GDPR allows legitimate interest under recital 47, and sole traders are flagged separately. When you receive the file you become an independent controller and, before calling, you must screen the numbers against Italy's do-not-call register. Automated email needs prior consent in Italy.

### Can I download the list as CSV or Excel, and how fast?

CSV and XLSX, with the source on every row; JSON on request. The 20-row sample arrives within one business day. A full province usually takes one or two business days, because every website has to be visited one by one to read the emails and social profiles.

### Can I filter Italian manufacturers by province or industrial district?

Yes: the cut that works is **sector by province**, for example metalworking in Brescia or plastics in Varese. One province starts at €290. You can also name several sectors, a radius in kilometres or a list of municipalities and industrial zones. There is no national package you have to buy whole before you can get your area.

### API or finished file: which is better?

The API makes sense if you have someone to integrate it and you want to rebuild the list yourself: you pay from $0.01 per lead and get $2 of free credit every month. The finished file makes sense if you need a province already deduplicated, enriched and checked, without writing a line of code.

### What guarantee is there on quality?

Before buying you get 20 real rows from your area for free. After buying, every field we deliver is guaranteed: if a field is wrong, for example an email that does not exist, that row is refunded. For phones the refund applies when the number does not exist or is not valid, not when nobody answers, because a phone that is switched off cannot be verified. The guarantee covers the fields of the list you bought (with «phone only», the phone) and the period to report a row is stated in the order.

### Can I import the list into my CRM?

Yes. The file arrives as CSV and XLSX with one column per field (name, phone, email, operating address, website), so the list of manufacturing companies loads through the contact import of HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo and monday CRM, or opens in Excel and Google Sheets. With the API the rows reach your systems without a file.

## Want to see 20 companies from your sector?

Tell us the sector and the province: we send you 20 complete rows within one business day, with no account and no card.
