## What this hair salons in Italy email list is

**It is the list of hair salons in an Italian area (women's, men's and unisex salons, hair stylists, salons that also offer hair treatments) with name, salon address, phone, website and the emails published on that website.** It is not an archive to download: it is extracted when you order it, so the collection date is the delivery date.

A salon is almost always a small business, often registered to the owner: the address that counts is the salon's, not the registered office. In Milan the phone was there for 183 salons out of 184 and the website for 130: for about seven salons in ten there is a page to read the email from, and for nearly all of them a number to call.

The line with the neighbouring sectors is thin. In **Milan** the map search returned 215 listings; 31 were other categories (barbers, beauty centres, beauty product shops) and we removed them. In the file the category column is there for exactly this: if you also sell to barbers, you put them back with a filter. The run stopped before covering the whole city, so there are at least 184 salons.

## The hairdressers' contacts you get on every row

These are the columns of the CSV or XLSX. The enrichment fields (email, social profiles, website status) are filled only for the salons with a reachable website.

| Field | Type | What it contains |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Salon name | text | The sign the salon uses with the public, cleaned of the slogans that sometimes end up in the name of the listing. |
| Category | text | Hairdresser, barber, beauty salon: the listing category lets you choose whether to keep the barbers or the mixed salons. |
| Address | text | Street and number of the **salon**, the place where the work happens and where the goods are delivered. |
| City, province and postcode | text | Three separate columns, useful in Milan as in the rest of the province to split the list between sales agents. |
| Phone | text | The number on the listing, normalised to international format. In the Milan sample landlines and mobiles sit side by side: mobiles stay separate. Before a calling campaign the numbers must be screened against Italy's do-not-call register (Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni). |
| Website | URL | The salon's domain. Chains and franchises share the group's domain, and you see it at once. |
| Email found on the website | text | The emails published on the salon's website, read during enrichment. More than one when there are several. |
| Social profiles | URL | Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn linked from the website: a second channel when the phone rings out in the middle of a blow-dry. |
| Opening hours | text | The hours on the listing, when there are any: they tell you when to call, while the salon is open but not full. |
| Rating | number | The average star rating on the listing, where there is one. |
| Number of reviews | number | How many reviews it has collected: an order of magnitude of the client volume and of the size of the salon. |
| Date of last review | date | When someone last wrote a review: the most honest signal that the salon is still open. |
| Active | yes / doubtful / no | Flag computed from the date of the last review and the website status. «Doubtful» means to be checked, not to be thrown away. |
| Source per row | text | Google Maps, national directory or both, with the «address confirmed» flag when the two sources give the same address. VAT number checked on VIES on request. |

## How we build the list

Five choices that decide how many right rows end up in the file.

### The sector from the listing, not from the ATECO code

A company picks its ATECO activity code when it registers and often never updates it when the business changes. We take the category the business shows today on its public listing, on Google Maps and on the Italian national directories.

### The operating address, not only the registered office

The address is where the business works and answers the phone, not the registered office in the company register, which is sometimes only an administrative address.

### Source and date for every field

Next to phone, website and email you see where the value came from and the day we read it.

### Measured coverage

Every list says how many rows really have a phone, a website or an email, counted and not estimated. On this page, in Milan: phone 99% (183 of 184), website 71% (130 of 184). Email coverage is measured in the sample from your area.

### Every month, only the changes

With the monthly refresh you receive new openings, closures and changed contact details, not the whole list again.

Before a calling campaign, Italian numbers must be screened against the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register. A business that finds itself in a list can ask to be removed: [remove your business from our lists](https://quanticdata.io/leads/removal/).

How the list is built

## From the map to the file, step by step

Five steps, always the same. They are the same public collectors you find in the API: if you prefer, you can run them yourself.

### 1. Extraction from the map

The `google_maps_places` collector sweeps the area you name and collects every hairdresser and barber listing: name, category, address, phone, website, opening hours, rating and reviews.

### 2. National directories for neighbourhood salons

The `business_directory` collector goes over the same area on Pagine Gialle and Pagine Bianche. Chains are everywhere, neighbourhood salons sometimes appear only there: the two sources complete each other.

### 3. Deduplication on name and street

We normalise name and address (slogans in the name, abbreviations, company forms) and merge the listings that describe the same salon. One row is left, with the source recorded.

### 4. Enrichment from the website

The `local_business_leads` collector visits the website of each salon and extracts the published emails, other numbers and the social profiles. The emails come from the website, not from a purchased archive, and we know from which page.

### 5. «Active» flag and delivery

From the date of the last review and the website status we derive the active / doubtful / no flag, then export to CSV or XLSX with the source on every row. On request we check the VAT numbers on VIES.

Pricing

## What it costs

Two ways. The self-service API if you want to rebuild the list yourself whenever you need it, the finished file if you only want to open the CSV and start. Prices are always «from»: they depend on how many businesses come out of the area you name.

**Free sample**20 rows*from the area you name, within one business day*

**Self-service API**from $0.01 per lead*`local_business_leads` collector, $2 of free credit every month, failed extractions not charged*

**One province**from €290*every business in the sector, enriched, CSV/XLSX, source per row*

**All of Italy**quote within 24 h*by region or nationwide; monthly refresh with the changes only from €390/month*

The API price is per row delivered: failed extractions are not charged and rows with neither phone nor website are not counted. Prices of the finished files exclude VAT.

## Who buys a hair salon contact list for Italy

Not the clients: companies that sell to salons and need the salon's number and the address where the work happens.

### Professional product distributors

Colour, developers, treatments: lines sold through agents and often with territorial exclusivity, so you need full coverage of the province.

### Haircare brands looking for partner salons

Whoever builds a network of stockist salons chooses on rating and number of reviews, then checks that the salon is still trading.

### Salon furniture

Styling chairs, backwash units, workstations and mirrors: a rare, important purchase, offered to the salons with the most reviews or to those that have just opened.

### Professional electricals

Hairdryers, straighteners, clippers: the category lets you build a barbers-only or a women's-salons-only list, with different offers.

### Booking and till software

Online booking and client reminders: in Milan 54 salons out of 184 had no website, and that is where whoever sells the digital shopfront starts.

### Academies and technical training

Colour, cutting and barbering courses: the list is built province by province and filtered on the salons still trading.

## A bought list versus a list built on request

The six differences that matter when you sell to salons.

| | Bought list | This list |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Freshness | A static file: usually it does not say when it was collected. | Extracted the day you order it; on request it comes back every month with the changes only. |
| Source per row | One big pool, with no way to know where each contact comes from. | Every row states the source: map, national directory or both. |
| Address | Often the **registered office**: the post ends up at the accountant's. | The address of the **salon**, with the «confirmed» flag when the two sources agree. |
| Barbers and mixed salons | Mixed in with no way to separate them. | The listing category on every row: keep them or drop them with a filter. |
| Closed salons | No signal: you find out by calling. | Active / doubtful / no flag and date of the last review on every row. |
| Pricing model | A package to buy whole, often national. | 20 free rows, then from $0.01 per lead through the API or from €290 per province. |

## Compliance: what is in the file and what is up to you

The list contains **business contacts only**: salon name, address, published number, website and the emails the salon publishes on its own website. No client data, no private contacts, no personal profiles bought from third parties.

For business-to-business contact the legal basis is legitimate interest, which the GDPR names explicitly for direct marketing in [recital 47](https://gdpr-info.eu/recitals/no-47/). Many salons are sole traders and some carry the owner's name: they are flagged in a separate column, because for them the contact detail counts as personal data and the processing has to be assessed case by case.

**Email, SMS and automated messages need consent in Italy.** Sending commercial communications through automated systems requires the recipient's prior consent, even when the recipient is a company or a professional (art. 130 of the Italian Privacy Code): the email column is for whoever already has that consent or for one-to-one contacts. Calls with a live operator are allowed only to numbers not listed in the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register.

When you receive the file you become an **independent controller** of the data: privacy notice, record of processing and replies to data subjects' requests are up to you. Before any calling campaign the numbers must be screened against the do-not-call register, mobiles included; on request we check the VAT numbers on VIES before delivery.

If your business is in one of our lists and you want it out, the business name and the contact detail to remove are enough: [remove your business from our lists](https://quanticdata.io/leads/removal/).

## Frequently asked questions

What buyers ask us before ordering. If something is missing, ask for the sample and write the question in the form: a person replies.

[Ask for your sample →](/datasets/italy/hair-salons/#sample)

### How many hair salons are there in Italy?

We have not counted a national total, so we do not publish one. The only number we measured is Milan: at least 184 salons in a single run on 1 October 2026, which stopped before covering the whole city. Before you order we tell you how many rows come out of your province, and the sample comes from that same area.

### Does the list include barbers as well as hairdressers?

Only if you want them. In Milan the map search returned 215 listings; 31 were other categories (barbers, beauty centres, beauty product shops) and we removed them, which left 184 hair salons. Every row carries the listing category, and it is there for exactly this: if you also sell to barbers, you put them back with a filter.

### How up to date is the data?

It is current to the day of extraction, because the list is generated when you order it instead of being pulled from an archive. The date of the last review tells you, row by row, how recently someone visited the salon. On request we rebuild the file every month and deliver only the changes.

### How many hair salons have an email?

We read the emails on the salon's website, so coverage depends on how many salons have one. In Milan 130 salons out of 184 (71%) had a website to visit, and 183 out of 184 (99%) had a phone. In the free sample you see the real percentage for your area before you pay.

### Is it legal to contact hair salons in Italy?

They are business contacts published by the salons themselves. For B2B the GDPR allows legitimate interest under recital 47, and sole traders are flagged separately. When you receive the file you become an independent controller and, before calling, you must screen the numbers against Italy's do-not-call register. Automated email needs prior consent in Italy.

### Is there a free sample of the Italy hair salon list?

Yes, to start with: 20 complete rows from the area you name are free, with no account and no card. They come from the same extraction as the paid list, so you see the real email and phone coverage of your area. The full province is paid, from €290.

### Can I download the hair salon list as CSV or Excel, and how fast?

CSV and XLSX, with the source on every row; JSON on request. The 20-row sample arrives within one business day. A full province usually takes one or two business days, because the website of every salon has to be visited one by one to read the emails and social profiles.

### Can I get the hairdressers of just one city, like Milan?

Yes: cities and provinces are the most requested cut, and one province starts at €290. You can also name a list of municipalities, a radius in kilometres or a few neighbourhoods. There is no national package you have to buy whole before you can get your area.

### API or finished file: which is better?

The API makes sense if you have someone to integrate it and you want to rebuild the list yourself: you pay from $0.01 per lead and get $2 of free credit every month. The finished file makes sense if you need a province already deduplicated, enriched and checked, without writing a line of code.

### What guarantee is there on quality?

Before buying you get 20 real rows from your area for free. After buying, every field we deliver is guaranteed: if a field is wrong, for example an email that does not exist, that row is refunded. For phones the refund applies when the number does not exist or is not valid, not when nobody answers, because a phone that is switched off cannot be verified. The guarantee covers the fields of the list you bought (with «phone only», the phone) and the period to report a row is stated in the order.

### Can I import the hair salon list into my CRM?

Yes. The list arrives as CSV and XLSX with one column per field, so it loads through the contact import of HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo and monday CRM, or opens in Excel and Google Sheets. With the API the rows go straight into your systems, without a file.

## Want to see 20 hair salons from your area?

Tell us the city or the province: we send you 20 complete rows within one business day, with no account and no card.
