# Auto repair shops in Italy with phone numbers: 848 across the whole province of Caserta — any province on request

**A list of auto repair shops in Italy (officine meccaniche and autofficine) with phone, website and operating address.** We build it on request from Google Maps and the Italian national directories, province by province. In the province of Caserta we searched all 104 municipalities: 848 workshops in 86 of them, 83% with a published phone number (708 of 848). Get 20 free rows, then from $0.01 per lead through the API, or from €290 per province.

## What this list of auto repair shops in Italy is

**It is the list of the workshops that repair cars in an Italian province — autofficine, officine meccaniche, vehicle inspection centres (centri revisione) — with business name, operating address, phone and website.** It is not an archive to download: it is extracted when you order it, so the collection date is the delivery date.

On Google, «officina meccanica» also means machine shops and precision engineering. Not here: this is a list of car repair workshops, and body shops (carrozzerie), tyre shops (gommisti), car washes, parts dealers, dealerships and distributors stay out. In the Caserta census the excluded businesses were 389: the category column is there to separate them.

The numbers on this page are for **the whole province of Caserta**, not a single city: on 11 September 2026 we searched for workshops in all 104 municipalities and found them in 86, for a total of 848. 83% have a published phone (708 of 848), 21% a website (181 of 848). Email coverage is not measured yet: it depends on the websites, and here websites are few.

## The fields you get on every row

These are the columns of the CSV or XLSX. The enrichment fields (email, social profiles, website status) are filled only for the businesses with a reachable website.

| Field | Type | What it contains |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Business name | text | The workshop's name as the public sees it, cleaned of duplicates: often it is the owner's name. |
| Category | text | The category declared on the listing: «Autofficina», «Officina meccanica», «Centro revisioni» (inspection centre), «Meccanico». Useful to filter before you call; body shops, tyre shops and car washes stay out of the count. |
| Address | text | Street and number of the **operating address**, that is the workshop where the work happens, not the owner's home address or the registered office. |
| Municipality, province and postcode | text | Three separate columns in the file, so you can split the province among your sales agents without reworking it. |
| Phone | text | The number published on the listing, normalised to international format; mobiles stay separate from landlines. Before a calling campaign the numbers must be screened against Italy's do-not-call register (Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni). |
| Website | URL | The workshop's domain. In the province of Caserta one workshop in five has one: when the column is empty, the phone is the contact that remains. |
| Email found on the website | text | The emails published on the business website, read from the site itself during enrichment. More than one when there are several. |
| Social profiles | URL | Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn linked from the website: useful when the phone does not answer. |
| Rating | number | The average star rating on the listing, where there is one. |
| Number of reviews | number | How many reviews it has collected: an order of magnitude of the client volume. |
| Date of last review | date | When someone last wrote a review: the most honest signal that the business is still trading. |
| Active | yes / doubtful / no | Flag computed from the date of the last review and the website status. «Doubtful» means to be checked, not to be thrown away. |
| Operating address confirmed | yes / no | It is **yes** when the map and the national directory show the same address. It is the field that keeps your letter from landing at the accountant's office. |
| Source per row | text | Google Maps, national directory or both: every row says where it comes from. On request we add the VAT number where the register shows it, checked on VIES. |

## How we build the list

Five choices that decide how many right rows end up in the file.

### The sector from the listing, not from the ATECO code

A company picks its ATECO activity code when it registers and often never updates it when the business changes. We take the category the business shows today on its public listing, on Google Maps and on the Italian national directories.

### The operating address, not only the registered office

The address is where the business works and answers the phone, not the registered office in the company register, which is sometimes only an administrative address.

### Source and date for every field

Next to phone, website and email you see where the value came from and the day we read it.

### Measured coverage

Every list says how many rows really have a phone, a website or an email, counted and not estimated. On this page, in the province of Caserta (all 104 municipalities, workshops found in 86): phone 83% (708 of 848), website 21% (181 of 848). Email coverage is not measured yet: you see it in the sample from your area.

### Every month, only the changes

With the monthly refresh you receive new openings, closures and changed contact details, not the whole list again.

Before a calling campaign, Italian numbers must be screened against the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register. A business that finds itself in a list can ask to be removed: [remove your business from our lists](https://quanticdata.io/leads/removal/).

How the list is built

## From the map to the file, step by step

Five steps, always the same. They are the same public collectors you find in the API: if you prefer, you can run them yourself.

### 1. Extraction from the map

The `google_maps_places` collector sweeps the province municipality by municipality and collects every car repair listing: name, category, address, phone, website, rating and reviews.

### 2. National directories for village workshops

The `business_directory` collector goes over the same municipalities on the Italian national directory (Pagine Gialle). It is there for the small workshops that do not look after their map listing but have an entry in the directory. The two sources complete each other, they do not replace each other.

### 3. Deduplication on name and street

We normalise business name and address (abbreviations, punctuation, company forms) and merge the listings that describe the same business. One row is left, but the «source» column keeps track of where it appeared.

### 4. Enrichment from the website

The `local_business_leads` collector visits the website of each business and extracts the published emails, other phone numbers, social profiles and the website status. The emails do not come from a purchased archive: they come from the business's own website, and we know from which page.

### 5. «Active» flag and delivery

From the date of the last review and the website status we derive the active / doubtful / no flag, then export to CSV or XLSX with the source on every row. On request we check the VAT numbers on VIES before we send you the file.

Pricing

## What it costs

Two ways. The self-service API if you want to rebuild the list yourself whenever you need it, the finished file if you only want to open the CSV and start. Prices are always «from»: they depend on how many businesses come out of the area you name.

**Free sample**20 rows*from the area you name, within one business day*

**Self-service API**from $0.01 per lead*`local_business_leads` collector, $2 of free credit every month, failed extractions not charged*

**One province**from €290*every workshop in the area, enriched, CSV/XLSX, source per row*

**All of Italy**quote within 24 h*by region or nationwide; monthly refresh with the changes only from €390/month*

The API price is per row delivered: failed extractions are not charged and rows with neither phone nor website are not counted. Prices of the finished files exclude VAT.

## Who buys a list of auto repair shops in Italy

Not drivers who need a repair: companies that sell to workshops. No data about their customers ever goes into the file.

### Parts and distribution

Parts dealers and distributors who cover a province with sales agents: they need every workshop in the territory, municipality by municipality.

### Lubricants and workshop supplies

Oils, filters and consumables: recurring supplies, where the workshop address and a phone that answers are what count.

### Equipment and diagnostics

Lifts, diagnostic tools, inspection lanes: the category on the listing separates the workshops that also carry out vehicle inspections.

### Workshop management software

Quotes, scheduling and service reminders: the website, when there is one, shows how digital the workshop already is.

### Approved repairer networks

Whoever builds a network of trusted workshops needs the whole province, not a sample from one city.

### Local marketing agencies

Websites and online listings: in the province of Caserta 667 workshops out of 848 have no website.

## A bought list versus a list built on request

The six differences buyers tell us about after trying an archive file.

| | Bought list | This list |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Freshness | A static file: usually it does not say when it was collected. | Extracted the day you order it; on request it comes back every month with the changes only. |
| Source per row | One big pool, with no way to know where each contact comes from. | Every row states the source: map, national directory or both. |
| Address | Often the **registered office**: the post ends up at the accountant's. | The **operating address**, with the «confirmed» flag when the two sources agree. |
| Origin of the emails | Origin not declared, often inherited from other lists. | Emails read on the workshop website, with the page they come from. |
| Closed businesses | No signal: you find out by calling. | Active / doubtful / no flag and date of the last review on every row. |
| Pricing model | A package to buy whole, often national. | 20 free rows, then from $0.01 per lead through the API or from €290 per province. |

## Compliance: what is in the file and what is up to you

The list contains **business contacts only**: business name, workshop address, published number, website and the emails the workshop publishes on its own website. No customer data, no private contacts, no personal profiles bought from third parties.

For business-to-business contact the legal basis is legitimate interest, which the GDPR names explicitly for direct marketing in [recital 47](https://gdpr-info.eu/recitals/no-47/). Among the workshops there are sole traders: they are flagged in a separate column, because for them the contact detail counts as personal data and the processing has to be assessed case by case.

**Email, SMS and automated messages need consent in Italy.** Sending commercial communications through automated systems requires the recipient's prior consent, even when the recipient is a company or a professional (art. 130 of the Italian Privacy Code): the email column is for whoever already has that consent or for one-to-one contacts. Calls with a live operator are allowed only to numbers not listed in the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni, Italy's do-not-call register.

When you receive the file you become an **independent controller** of the data: privacy notice, record of processing and replies to data subjects' requests are up to you. Before any calling campaign the numbers must be screened against the do-not-call register; on request we check the VAT numbers on VIES before delivery.

If your business is in one of our lists and you want it out, the business name and the contact detail to remove are enough: [remove your business from our lists](https://quanticdata.io/leads/removal/).

## Frequently asked questions

What buyers ask us before ordering. If something is missing, ask for the sample and write the question in the form: a person replies.

[Ask for your sample →](/datasets/italy/car-repair-shops/#sample)

### How many auto repair shops are there in Italy?

We have not counted a national total, so we do not publish one. The only province we have covered in full is Caserta: 848 workshops in 86 of its 104 municipalities, on 11 September 2026. Before you order we tell you how many rows come out of the province you need, and the free sample comes from that same area.

### Does the list include body shops (carrozzerie) and tyre shops?

Not by default. The list covers the workshops that repair cars: autofficine, officine meccaniche and vehicle inspection centres. Body shops, tyre shops, car washes, parts dealers, dealerships and distributors stay out: in the province of Caserta they were 389 businesses, removed from the count. If you need them too, write it in the form.

### What is the difference between an officina and a carrozzeria?

An officina meccanica, or autofficina, works on the mechanical side of a car: engine, brakes, suspension, servicing; some are also vehicle inspection centres. A carrozzeria is a body shop: dents, paint and bodywork. They buy different products, which is why the category column keeps them apart and body shops are not in this list unless you ask for them.

### How up to date is the data?

It is current to the day of extraction, because the list is generated when you order it instead of being pulled from an archive. The date-of-last-review column tells you, row by row, how recently someone visited the workshop. On request we rebuild the file every month and deliver only the changes.

### Can I get mechanics' phone numbers and emails in Italy?

Phone numbers, yes: in the province of Caserta 83% of the rows have one (708 of 848). Email coverage we have not measured yet: we read the emails on the workshop website, and in Caserta only 21% of the workshops have a website (181 of 848). In the free sample you see the real coverage for your area before you pay.

### Is it legal to contact these auto repair shops?

They are business contacts published by the workshops themselves. For B2B the GDPR allows legitimate interest under recital 47, and sole traders are flagged separately. When you receive the file you become an independent controller and, before calling, you must screen the numbers against Italy's do-not-call register. Automated email needs prior consent in Italy.

### Can I download the list as CSV or Excel, and how fast?

CSV and XLSX, with the source on every row; JSON on request. The 20-row sample arrives within one business day. A full province usually takes one or two business days, because every website has to be visited one by one to read the emails and social profiles.

### Can I buy one province only, or just some municipalities?

Yes, and it is the most requested cut: one province starts at €290. You can also name a list of municipalities or a radius in kilometres. There is no national package you have to buy whole before you can get your area.

### API or finished file: which is better?

The API makes sense if you have someone to integrate it and you want to rebuild the list yourself: you pay from $0.01 per lead and get $2 of free credit every month. The finished file makes sense if you need a province already deduplicated, enriched and checked, without writing a line of code.

### What guarantee is there on quality?

Before buying you get 20 real rows from your area for free. After buying, every field we deliver is guaranteed: if a field is wrong, for example an email that does not exist, that row is refunded. For phones the refund applies when the number does not exist or is not valid, not when nobody answers, because a phone that is switched off cannot be verified. The guarantee covers the fields of the list you bought (with «phone only», the phone) and the period to report a row is stated in the order.

### Can I import the list into my CRM?

Yes. The file arrives as CSV and XLSX with one column per field (name, phone, email, operating address, website), so the list of auto repair shops loads through the contact import of HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo and monday CRM, or opens in Excel and Google Sheets. With the API the rows reach your systems without a file.

## Want to see 20 auto repair shops from your area?

Tell us the province or the municipalities: we send you 20 complete rows within one business day, with no account and no card.
