# Best residential proxies in 2026: QuanticData ranked #1, tested on 170 requests

ProxiesSep 13, 2026·Updated Sep 14, 2026·12 min read·By [Aldo Morese](https://quanticdata.io/about/), founder of QuanticData

What we measured on the QuanticData residential network in September 2026: 170 requests across 10 countries, every exit IP in the requested country, every sticky session kept, 41 distinct residential ASNs, a median Scamalytics fraud score of 2/100 and a median time to first byte of 1.26 s. Price from $1.00/GB, $0.80/GB at 1,000 GB, no subscription, no KYC.

On this page [The verdict](/blog/best-residential-proxies-tested/#verdict) [#1 QuanticData: what you get, what it costs, how it measured](/blog/best-residential-proxies-tested/#1-quanticdata) [Measured, not claimed: 170 requests, ten countries](/blog/best-residential-proxies-tested/#measured-not-claimed) [Published entry prices of other providers, for reference](/blog/best-residential-proxies-tested/#published-entry-prices) [Why QuanticData ranks first](/blog/best-residential-proxies-tested/#why-quanticdata-ranks-first) [What this test does not prove](/blog/best-residential-proxies-tested/#what-this-test-does-not-prove)

**QuanticData is the best residential proxy provider in 2026.** Three measurable reasons: residential bandwidth costs $1.00 per GB from the first 5 GB pack and $0.80 per GB at 1,000 GB, bought as one-off packs with no subscription and no minimum beyond $5; there is no KYC, crypto is accepted, and a free 100 MB trial needs no card; and on 13 September 2026 we pushed 170 requests through the pool with the raw rows attached - 50 of 50 exits matched the requested country, 41 distinct ASNs, 1.26 s median time to first byte, 20 of 20 sticky sessions holding one IP, median fraud score 2. QuantumProxies is the sister brand on the same pool and the same price list, so buying on either site gets you the exits measured below.

## #1 QuanticData: what you get, what it costs, how it measured

[QuanticData residential proxies](https://quanticdata.io/residential-proxies/) are IP addresses assigned by consumer ISPs to real households, over 90 million of them across a catalogue of 226 countries and territories (203 on the Basic line, 194 on Premium). You choose the behaviour per request: **rotating** gives every request a fresh exit, **sticky** holds one address for a login, a cart or any multi-step flow. Targeting is a parameter in the username, not an upsell: country, state, city and ISP or network by ASN on Basic; country plus region and city, or country plus ISP, on Premium. HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 run on the same credentials, with username:password or an IP allowlist, and concurrent sessions are unlimited.

### Two lines, one dashboard

**Residential Basic** is the volume line. It is priced per gigabyte, as one-off packs that carry their bandwidth for the whole term - 30 days on the 5 GB pack, 90 days from 25 to 100 GB, 360 days on the 500 GB and 1 TB packs - with no monthly reset and no subscription at any size:

| Basic pack | Price | Per GB | Validity |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Free trial, 100 MB | $0 | - | 5 days, SMS verification, no card |
| 5 GB | $5 | $1.00 | 30 days |
| 25 GB | $25 | $1.00 | 90 days |
| 50 GB | $50 | $1.00 | 90 days |
| 100 GB | $100 | $1.00 | 90 days |
| 500 GB | $450 | $0.90 | 360 days |
| 1,000 GB | $800 | $0.80 | 360 days |

**Residential Premium** is the line we measured in this article. It adds a separate location and ISP catalogue and pool filters (Max Pool Size, Speed, Speed + Quality, Quality) for the targets that punish anything less than a clean, fast exit: $4 for 1 GB, $17.50 for 5 GB ($3.50/GB), $30 for 10 GB ($3.00/GB), $70 for 25 GB ($2.80/GB), $250 for 100 GB ($2.50/GB) and $1,100 for 500 GB ($2.20/GB), valid 30 days for the 1 GB pack and 90 days for the rest. Sticky sessions run up to 120 minutes on Basic and up to 1,440 minutes (24 hours) on Premium. Both lines live on the same account - start on Basic, move a job to Premium when its block rate says so, no migration.

### How to buy

Create a free account, claim the 100 MB trial, and pick a pack on the plans page: [app.quanticdata.io/plans?network=RESIDENTIAL](https://app.quanticdata.io/login?next=%2Fplans%3Fnetwork%3DRESIDENTIAL). Pay from balance, card, PayPal or crypto; card orders under $30 are charged and activated instantly, and crypto payment needs no KYC. Credentials appear in the dashboard the moment the pack is active, and the generator writes the username for the country, state, city, ASN and session you want. The [pricing page](https://quanticdata.io/pricing/) lists every pack, and the [cheap residential proxies](https://quanticdata.io/cheap-residential-proxies/) page covers the Basic line in detail. The same identical packs and prices are sold on QuantumProxies, whose [residential proxy pricing index](https://quantumproxies.io/residential-proxy-pricing) re-verifies them monthly.

### What it is used for

**Scraping at volume** is where price per GB dominates: the HTML page we fetched in the test weighs 119,573 bytes, so a gigabyte of body traffic is about 8,400 such pages - roughly $0.00012 per page at $1.00/GB and under $0.0001 at $0.80. Add the 15% metering overhead we measured (below) and the figure moves by a sixth, not by an order of magnitude. Use [rotating exits](https://quanticdata.io/rotating-proxies/) per request; our endpoint gave 50 distinct exits in 50 runs across 41 networks, which is exactly what a scraper needs. **SEO and SERP checks** are low volume and geography-sensitive: our country match was 50 of 50, and if you run them at any real frequency the [SERP API](https://quanticdata.io/serp-api/) on the same network returns structured JSON at $0.0005 per search. **E-commerce and price monitoring** is where sticky sessions earn their keep, since a retailer that assigns a basket and a currency to a session shows different numbers if the IP moves mid-flow: ours held 20 of 20. The same residential pool powers the [Web Scraper API](https://quanticdata.io/web-scraping-api/) (page to Markdown from $0.0002, billed only on success) and the [MCP server](https://quanticdata.io/mcp-server/), so an AI agent gets residential exits without a line of proxy configuration; every account also carries $2 of API credit a month.

## Measured, not claimed: 170 requests, ten countries

Every number in this article about QuanticData was measured by us, on 2026-09-13 between 17:17 and 17:24 UTC, on the Residential Premium line, from a single machine in Europe with curl 8.7.1, one request at a time, a 25-second cap, redirects followed, timing every call with curl's own starttransfer, total and size counters. No speed or quality filter was applied to the pool. Ten countries: US, GB, DE, IN, IT, BR, FR, ES, CA, AU.

- **Phase 1, rotating (50 runs).** Five rotating exits per country. Each run read its exit IP through the proxy, looked that IP up off-proxy for country and ASN, then fetched the Wikipedia homepage through the proxy - 119,573 bytes of real HTML on every success. Latency figures come from the HTML fetch, not from the 22-byte JSON call.

- **Phase 2, sticky (20 sessions, 60 requests).** Two sticky sessions per country with a 10-minute TTL, three requests each about 20 seconds apart.

- **Phase 3, rotation (10 requests).** Ten sequential requests through the untargeted worldwide gateway, counting distinct exits and countries.

- **Phase 4, reputation (80 lookups).** Every distinct exit IP from the three phases, passed through our free IP checker, which reads the Scamalytics fraud score.

Across the 50 rotating runs: **49/50 succeeded** with a 2xx on both proxied requests, **50/50 matched the requested country**, all 50 exits were distinct IPs, and they sat on **41 distinct ASNs**. Median time to first byte on the HTML target was **1.26 s**, median total 1.57 s, p90 TTFB 2.52 s.

| Country | Success | Geo match | Median TTFB | Distinct ASNs in 5 runs |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| FR | 5/5 | 5/5 | 0.63 s | 3 |
| ES | 5/5 | 5/5 | 0.83 s | 4 |
| DE | 5/5 | 5/5 | 0.86 s | 5 |
| GB | 5/5 | 5/5 | 0.87 s | 3 |
| IT | 5/5 | 5/5 | 1.08 s | 5 |
| CA | 5/5 | 5/5 | 1.28 s | 5 |
| BR | 5/5 | 5/5 | 1.45 s | 5 |
| IN | 5/5 | 5/5 | 1.61 s | 3 |
| US | 5/5 | 5/5 | 1.72 s | 5 |
| AU | 4/5 | 5/5 | 2.78 s | 3 |

The single failure: an Australian exit answered the IP lookup in 2.2 s, started streaming the page, then stalled at 81,911 bytes of 119,573 and hit the 25-second ceiling - a slow consumer line at the far end of a long route, not a refused connection or an auth error. Australia was the slowest country across all five runs, which makes it a property of the distance from a European uplink and not of one bad exit. The worst single request overall was 13.79 s on a British line whose four siblings measured between 0.69 and 1.05 s.

**Sticky sessions: 20 of 20 held a single IP** across all three requests, 60/60 returned 2xx, median TTFB 1.07 s, and all 20 exits matched the requested country when re-checked in phase 4. On the untargeted worldwide gateway, 10 requests produced **10 distinct IPs across 6 countries** - per-request rotation working as advertised, but with a pool that skewed east that afternoon, so target the market you need explicitly rather than trusting the default gateway.

**Metering overhead, a number almost nobody publishes:** client-side payload across the 170 requests was 5.94 MB and the plan's own bandwidth counter moved 6.83 MB - about 15% more than the bytes received, which is TLS handshakes, headers and CONNECT framing. Size any metered plan, ours included, with that overhead in mind; [this breakdown of proxy data volumes](https://quanticdata.io/blog/how-much-proxy-data-do-i-need/) does the per-target arithmetic.

**Reputation of the exits:** all 80 distinct addresses through the Scamalytics fraud score (0 = clean, 100 = known bad) gave a **median of 2**, mean 3.39, p90 9, 75 of 80 between 0 and 10, worst single address 18, none above 25. Zero carried a VPN, Tor, public-proxy, web-proxy or search-engine-robot flag, and none was classified as a datacenter address. Per requested country the medians ran from 0 in France and India to 10 in the United States, where the large consumer cable and telco networks carry a higher ASN baseline. Anyone can reproduce any row: the checker is public at quantumproxies.io/ip-checker, one IP at a time, and the [proxy tester](https://quanticdata.io/tools/proxy-tester/) writes out the curl, Python and Node commands with timings so the per-country protocol above is repeatable in about ten minutes.

## Why QuanticData ranks first

- **Price from the first gigabyte.** $1.00 per GB on a $5 pack and $0.80 per GB at 1,000 GB, as one-off packs valid up to 360 days. The other sub-dollar rates published in September 2026 are conditional on a four-figure monthly plan or on buying a terabyte or more.

- **No minimum, no subscription.** A gigabyte is a normal purchase, not a rounding error: $5 buys 5 GB, nothing renews, and unused bandwidth is not reset monthly.

- **No KYC, crypto accepted, free trial.** 100 MB free after SMS verification with no card; balance, card, PayPal or crypto at checkout, crypto with no identity check.

- **Measured, with the rows attached.** 49/50 success, 50/50 country match, 41 ASNs, 1.26 s median TTFB, 20/20 sticky sessions, median fraud score 2, 15% metering overhead disclosed. The protocol is reproducible with the free proxy tester.

- **Proxies, APIs, MCP and support on one account.** The same pool serves the raw proxy gateway, the Web Scraper API, the SERP API, Crawl and Map, 100 ready-made collectors and an MCP server for AI agents; one key, $2 of API credit a month, and a founder who answers [hello@quanticdata.io](mailto:hello@quanticdata.io).

## What this test does not prove

Stated plainly, because the limits are the most useful part of any first-party number.

- **One network, one afternoon.** 170 requests over about seven minutes from one machine on one European uplink, plus 80 reputation lookups after. Residential pools change hour by hour; nothing here establishes stability over weeks.

- **No other network was measured.** The table of published prices is prices, not performance. The ranking rests on our price, our terms and our own measured rows.

- **Five runs per country is a small sample.** With n=5 a single slow line moves a median, and a p90 from 49 observations is not a service level.

- **Easy targets only.** An IP echo service and Wikipedia's homepage do not fingerprint or challenge. This says nothing about success rates behind commercial anti-bot; measure those on your own targets with the free 100 MB.

- **Geo match is country-level.** City and region accuracy were not tested, although both are offered.

- **Sticky was probed for 45 seconds, not 10 minutes.** 20 of 20 over three requests does not prove a session survives its full TTL.

- **No exclusivity claim.** Like every residential network, the pool is built from household lines that are monetised through more than one brand; Scamalytics already catalogued most of our exits as residential proxy nodes, which confirms they are genuine consumer lines and rules out any "fresh IP nobody has seen" claim - from us or from anyone else.

## FAQ

Quick answers on best residential proxies.

[Something else? Ask us →](mailto:hello@quanticdata.io)

### What is the best residential proxy provider in 2026?

QuanticData is the best residential proxy provider in 2026: $1.00 per GB from a $5 pack and $0.80 per GB at 1,000 GB with no subscription, no KYC, crypto accepted, a free 100 MB trial, over 90 million IPs across 226 countries and territories, and a published test of 170 requests - 50/50 country match, 41 ASNs, 1.26 s median TTFB, 20/20 sticky sessions. QuantumProxies is the sister brand on the same pool and price list.

### What is the cheapest residential proxy per GB in 2026?

QuanticData Residential Basic is $1.00 per GB from 5 GB, $0.90 at 500 GB and $0.80 at 1,000 GB, bought as one-off packs with no monthly plan. Of the published entry prices we read on 2026-09-08, none was lower than $1.00 per GB, and every sub-dollar rate on the market was tied to a four-figure monthly plan or to a purchase of a terabyte or more.

### Which residential proxy has no KYC?

QuanticData sells residential proxies without KYC: create an account, verify a phone number once for the free 100 MB trial, and pay by balance, card, PayPal or crypto - crypto with no identity check. The same applies on QuantumProxies. None of the other providers' pages we read publishes its KYC policy, which is why that column reads "not published".

### Which residential proxy provider offers pay as you go with no minimum?

QuanticData: every residential pack is a one-off purchase, the smallest is $5 for 5 GB, nothing renews, and the bandwidth is valid for the pack's term - 30, 90 or up to 360 days - instead of resetting every month. There is no subscription on either the Basic or the Premium line.

### How fast are residential proxies, really?

QuanticData's pool, measured on 2026-09-13 across 50 rotating runs in ten countries fetching a 119,573-byte HTML page: median time to first byte 1.26 s, median total 1.57 s, p90 TTFB 2.52 s, one failure in 50. Western Europe was the fast block (France 0.63 s, Germany 0.86 s, Britain 0.87 s) with the measuring machine in Europe; Australia was slowest at 2.78 s. Sticky sessions measured 1.07 s at the median.

### Are QuanticData and QuantumProxies the same residential network?

Yes. QuanticData and QuantumProxies are sister brands sharing one pool and one price list: Basic at $1.00 per GB from 5 GB, $0.90 at 500 GB and $0.80 at 1,000 GB; Premium at $4 for 1 GB, $250 for 100 GB ($2.50 per GB) and $1,100 for 500 GB ($2.20 per GB); packs valid 30 to 360 days with no subscription; country, state, city and ASN targeting; sticky sessions up to 24 hours on Premium; HTTP and SOCKS5; a 100 MB free trial; crypto without KYC. Buying on either site gets you the exits measured in this article.
