# Billing Agreement > What you authorise when you save a card on QuanticData: automatic subscription renewals and pay-as-you-go auto-recharge of your prepaid balance, and how to revoke it. [Home](https://quanticdata.io/)/*Billing Agreement* # Billing Agreement Last updated: 21 September 2026 · [Operating entity, registered address & governing law — to confirm before launch] This Billing Agreement ("Agreement") governs how QuanticData ("we", "us") charges you for Data API subscriptions, prepaid balance top-ups, proxy plans and pay-per-success usage of the Data API. It supplements the [Terms of Service](https://quanticdata.io/terms/), which continue to apply to everything this page does not cover. By saving a payment method in your dashboard, or by purchasing a subscription, you accept this Agreement. ## 1. What you authorise When you save a card, it is tokenised and stored by our payment processor; we never see or store the full card number. You authorise QuanticData to charge that saved card, **without further action from you**, for: - **subscription renewals** — the fee for each billing period while a subscription is active (Data API plans, and any proxy plan you have set to renew); - **auto-recharge top-ups** — when you enable auto-recharge, the recharge amount you chose, each time your prepaid balance falls below the threshold you set. These are merchant-initiated, card-on-file payments: they happen on a schedule or on a balance event, not at a checkout you attend. Your authorisation continues until you remove the card or cancel, as described in section 5. Nothing else is charged to the saved card: one-off purchases still go through checkout, where you confirm each amount. ## 2. Subscriptions Data API plans are billed in advance for each billing period (monthly unless stated otherwise) and renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled. Each plan includes a monthly usage allowance, a discount on per-request prices and throughput limits, as shown on your account when you subscribe. The first period is charged immediately when you subscribe; each renewal is charged at the start of the next period. A subscription paid from prepaid balance instead of a card follows the same schedule and is deducted from the balance. ## 3. Prepaid balance, pay-as-you-go and auto-recharge Without a subscription you pay as you go from your prepaid balance. If you enable auto-recharge, whenever your balance falls below the threshold you set, we charge your saved card for the recharge amount you chose and credit it to your balance. You choose both numbers, and you can change them or turn auto-recharge off at any time in **Balance** in your dashboard. Auto-recharge stops as soon as you disable it or remove the card. ## 4. How usage is charged Data API usage is charged per successful result against your monthly allowance and then your prepaid balance, at the unit prices shown on the site and in your dashboard. Failed calls — blocked pages, captchas, timeouts and internal retries — are not billed, and asynchronous crawl and batch jobs automatically credit pages that could not be fetched. Proxy plans are priced as shown at checkout for the plan you buy (traffic or IPs for a fixed period). The price of each request is shown in the response and in your usage log. ## 5. Cancelling and revoking your authorisation - **Cancel a subscription** at any time from your dashboard: it stays active until the end of the current billing period and then lapses to pay-as-you-go, with no further subscription charges. - **Turn off auto-recharge** in Balance: no further top-ups are charged. - **Remove the saved card** in Billing: this revokes this authorisation entirely. All future automatic charges stop, auto-recharge is disabled, and any active subscription lapses at its next renewal unless you pay it another way. Removing the card does not close your account or delete your remaining balance. If you cannot reach the dashboard, write to [hello@quanticdata.io](mailto:hello@quanticdata.io) from your account email and we remove the card for you. ## 6. Failed payments If a charge fails, we may retry it. A subscription with repeated failed renewals is marked past due and then cancelled. Auto-recharge is disabled after repeated failures. You remain responsible for any negative balance resulting from usage that exceeded available funds. ## 7. Refunds Refunds follow section 5 of the [Terms of Service](https://quanticdata.io/terms/): apart from the automatic pay-per-success credits described above, fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Prepaid balance is spent against usage and is not returned as cash; subscription fees are charged for the billing period and are not refunded when you cancel — cancellation stops the next renewal; per-IP proxy rentals are non-refundable once the IPs are provisioned. Where a charge was our error, or a genuine service failure on our side, write to us and we will review it in good faith and credit your account where appropriate. Consumers keep any statutory withdrawal or refund rights that apply in their country. ## 8. Disputes and chargebacks If you have a billing concern, contact [hello@quanticdata.io](mailto:hello@quanticdata.io) before opening a dispute — most issues are resolved quickly. Opening a payment dispute or chargeback on a charge immediately suspends paid service on your account, disables the saved card and auto-recharge, and cancels any active subscription. If disputed funds that had been credited to your balance are reversed, the same amount is deducted from your balance, which may leave a negative balance that must be settled before service resumes. Abuse of the dispute process may end the account. ## 9. Price changes We may change subscription prices, per-request prices, free allowances or limits. We give reasonable notice of material changes; a change takes effect at your next billing period, and continued use after that date means you accept it. A price change never alters the auto-recharge amount you set: that number stays yours until you change it. ## 10. Taxes Prices exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes (for example VAT) are added to card charges where required, as shown at checkout and on your invoice. You are responsible for any other tax that applies to your purchase. ## 11. Governing law and contact This Agreement is subject to the same governing law and jurisdiction as the [Terms of Service](https://quanticdata.io/terms/). In case of conflict the Terms prevail, except for the authorisation in section 1, which only this page grants.
